@virginmedia That is what happened. If it didn’t happened to you it is even more strange. Do you want me to do it again and record it? In the meantime, I was contacted today and agreed a way forwards to stay with VM. It is quite hard to have to deal with bad customer care while grieving.

@virginmedia broadband has been absolutely dire in the last few weeks. Phases of outage or sun 2mbps speeds. Anyone else experiencing similar in SE26 area? Remember it was around cold snap it got bad - maybe affected the infrastructure.

@virginmedia Thank you but we have complained and no response. We are with you because you offer 200Mb and we need that, the closest competitor offers only 60Mb. It’s frustrating that we are paying for a service that is not guaranteed

Not very good @virginmedia complaint C-2901212518 emailed to say they tried to call. No they haven’t. No incoming calls registered and nothing on my mobile! Didn’t even remotely address the complaint in the email. Please call me!

@virginmedia Yes I did, a VM agent went through the whole event and resolved it for me. There are thousands of VM customers in a FaceBook group suffering similar problems it is called Virgin Media Customer Service.

Anyone have constant issues with @virginmedia we pay for 200Mb super fast broadband. We are in Bromley. Over the last year we have had nothing but issues and no matter how many times we make contact we get fobbed off. We are paying for a service that cannot deliver. Anyone else?

I understand it takes time to replace fibre optics. I don‘t understand why @virginmedia sends out messages that are plain wrong. My connection is not working, has not been working ever since Tuesday evening. Is this to avoid having to pay back customers?

Moved in over a week ago and @SkyUK say it’s still going to be another 7-10 working days before we get wifi- shocking service as new customers who are now having to spend a fortune hot spotting data working from home. Calling @virginmedia today.

@virginmedia Oh now this is the clincher, I can’t make a complaint online because the account has been disconnected. So when I login it tells me I don’t have access to that page. It’s almost like VM don’t want disgruntled former customers tearing them a new backside in their complaints.

@virginmedia Service status says no known issues but when I call over the phone an automated message refers to intermittent problems last two days and that engineers are taking a long time to fix complex problems. Currently ok but recently every day there is a long period of issues.

Funny story: according to @virginmedia boosters don't work at boosting the signal, BUT if you pay £5 PER MONTH we can rent you one. ? Confused ? Not as much as @virginmedia are. Worrying bit, This was from " technical support".

Terrible customer service and false promises from @VodafoneUK mean I am being told I can't keep the landline number I have had for decades as it has reverted to being owned by virgin media and is now defunct. Can anyone at @virginmedia help?
