  • DaveGarside

@virginmedia No. Tv is fine. I can access VOD such as Amazon Prime & Youtube no problem

  • barrys59
Barry Slater (@barrys59) reported from Barton upon Irwell, England

@virginmedia still no service M27. 4th hour! Rubbish!

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia See thread above, nothing changes except the time of the estimated fix. It must be very localised as not everyone in my area is affected. So if it is damaged cables, I haven’t seen anyone out repairing them over the weekend, it’s a joke

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I looked and that says it’s from the day I registered the total loss of service which was yesterday but really it should be from Friday afternoon when I did the online chat. If I DM you can you check?

  • SiManM20
Simon Manning 🇪🇺 #FBPE (@SiManM20) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Will do. That was your cue to step in and offer some ‘customer service’ btw.

  • pillbo01
kevin.james (@pillbo01) reported from Bolton, England

@virginmedia That number is a automated response not a customer service agent and an utter waste of time

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia I also don’t need to monitor the quality of my broadband, I already know it’s awful. I don’t understand how that would help.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia 2/2 who can I speak to as it was working fine on Friday until the issues that were nothing to do with me happened, so don’t see why I should now pay for a technician

  • JoshuaBurns
Josh B (@JoshuaBurns) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia on my second week of being a first time customer with you and my connection has been down for nearly 10 hours now. What’s going on?

  • sharper76
Smyth Harper 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇺🇦☘️ (@sharper76) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia In the orders and appointments section it says there are none. The text I have received confirming the appointment and threatening me with a £25 fine is different to the one offered to me by your customer services.

  • johnsonhomes2
johnsonhomes (@johnsonhomes2) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia The guy I spoke to at VM yesterday said that she wouldn’t be eligible for a “disabled” phone line to be installed because it wasn’t claimed when they dug the front garden up 18 months ago. We were never given this as an option at the time, if we had we would have insisted on it.

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia I first informed Virgin Media that my internet was down via online chat on Friday afternoon. Will this have automatically been the time when my loss of service was registered as at the time the advisor said it would be fixed in 24 hours?

  • bludav_andrew
👽 (@bludav_andrew) reported from Manchester, England

@virginmedia Hi, for the 2nd time it appears you’re trying to charge me for a call out when I wasn’t supposed to be charged, I’ve already called once about this and was told it was corrected but it’s happened again? I’ve had to cancel my DD until sorted as due to come out 2morrow

  • tuite_liz
Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@virginmedia Could the problems in the area have caused damage to the equipment? As it was working fine before. Do I get compensation for all this time as the earliest appointment is Friday 14th?

  • _AdamGardiner
Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia Have you just stopped responding now? Having some system issues?

  • martinmoscrop
Martin Moscrop 🎺 (@martinmoscrop) reported from Salford, England

@LennieThevan @virginmedia That sounds terrible Lennie. If you want to change a plan and save money they go out of their way to be unhelpful. However, if you want to spend more their customers service Is better.

  • HollowayAlec
Alec Holloway (@HollowayAlec) reported from Stretford, England

@virginmedia is unbelievable that our Internet is so poor, trying to contact someone via phone on numerous occasions waiting for over 45 minutes to speak with someone. Still haven't been able to get through to anyone.

  • WCONNOLLY2512
William Connolly (@WCONNOLLY2512) reported from Manchester, England

@beverleyturner @virginmedia Virgin Media had gone ****. Poor broadband, crappie TV channels and half don't even work.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Bigg_F_
    BigF (@Bigg_F_) reported

@virginmedia Yes. Eventually got through via chat to a real person. They advised a factory reset of hub which is a complete pain to set back up and it made no difference. Engineer arranged to come today. I also raised a formal complaint. Mysteriously it’s working two hours later.

  • kathrynbarrow
    Kathryn Barrow (@kathrynbarrow) reported

@virginmedia When will the broadband and TV issue be sorted in KT2?

  • Tesz
    Therese (@Tesz) reported

@virginmedia your services including your chat and your agents are hopeless. Please can I have an email address for a formal complaint about repeated loss of service

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@Oldbloke74 @virginmedia I have to admit the bloke on the call centre helpline was really nice and helpful but the problem was he seems to just have been making up stuff to make me happy with what I heard as what he said and what has actually happened aren't even close to being in the same postcode 😢

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@BertySi @virginmedia That's certainly the least they should be doing IMHO. This is a ridiculously long period of being unable to access their service @virginmedia, can this be organised as a matter of urgency? I have sent a DM as well

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

Day 4 of poor followed by NO broadband service from good old @virginmedia. Fix now predicted to be by 29/4/26😡 Worryingly, none of their previous predictions have proved accurate Shocking and unacceptable performance #GetItSorted

  • aidan_codtello
    Aidan Costello (@aidan_codtello) reported

@entrustTMF @virginmedia I've done a postcode check and it says intermittent problems. My daughter says if it doesn't improve she can go back to her flat as it isn't too far away. We are in London. We signed up for virgin party as they were to pay £50 incentive to use & my father for both of us signing

  • kbally23
Lord Kieran J Ball (@kbally23) reported

@virginmedia Thanks for coming back no same issue loads to ticketmaster and then states you have to click the link and it takes you back to the same screen, nevermind never happened before ill have to wait to buy on friday

  • DjmarkieT
    mancs boi (@DjmarkieT) reported

I will be calling virgin media to leave tomorrow and give notice I still have 20 months left on the contract but u won’t get a penny for your horrific service **** u @virginmedia let it be a lesson when u get **** all!

  • Ninzolow
    Ninzolow (@Ninzolow) reported

@nib95_ You bought or sourced a MESH now? 👀 Also the bad news with youFibre is there becoming a part of Virgin Media should the deal be approved (Subsidary of the Netomnia Group) 🫠
