@virginmedia now onto the second week of no contact. No help and no communication. Imagine trying to call someone at this billion dollar company just to open a business account. And you can’t even get through for 14 days. It’s pathetic. This 02 merger has finished them.

@SunilMistry32 @virginmedia I tried that. Turns out you can’t even cancel. Cancelling DD might be the only option

@virginmedia 1. I already have this app. 2. It didn’t work with hub 4 3. The problem is NOT Wi-Fi dead spots as the Wi-Fi will drop when I’m only a couple of feet away from the router.

@virginmedia so, I've been trying for over 3 hours now to cancel my contract and absolutely no progress made so far!!! 3 hours. Surely this is a breach of ofcoms rules to make cancellation a reasonably quick and easy process!?

@cameraoncaught @virginmedia Have you forwarded this to Virgin media internal complaints? In my opinion Virgin have one of the worst customer service teams around but it may reach someone who can act upon internally.

@virginmedia Ethernet is fine. It’s when I contact my tablets and phones that it continually drops out. Hub3, whilst having poor range, had a solid connection.

@virginmedia we've had atrocious broadband on SE26 4HN for weeks now, it just keeps dropping out and then coming back. I have just had my bill and I'm not really feeling we should have to pay for the service we've had this month.

@virginmedia To Clarify, latest speed test is 11.1 Mbps download and 0.04 Mbps upload. It should be over 1000 Download and 50.0 upload. It's just just slow, nothing works. Nothing loads properly. Totally unusable.

@rwilliams1947 @virginmedia Call the Virgin Media press bods and advise them you are going to write about their crap service. It's amazing the effect that has. I hate to play the "I'm a journo" card, but it has worked for me with several inept utility providers, inc Openreach and Scottish Power. Good luck.

@virginmedia My latest speed test. Download should be over 1000 Mbps and upload should be over 50 Mbps, not 0.04. I work from home, I am losing money as internet is so unstable. Will I be compensated in some way for this? I'd post the screenshot but internet is so bad it won't upload.
-

@TGarlandLo @virginmedia Don’t expect any compensation, they will only offer it if all services are down completely,

@LeePartridge16 @virginmedia Same with British gas. Had Home repair cover for 30+ years. Wanted to charge over £50/month. New customer charged £28. Cancelled my agreement and attempted to take out new customer agreement. Refused. Decided saving over £600 a year could get most things repaired or replaced.
