Sad in these times when a friend is forced to move home because her mortgage company won’t help her & now @virginmedia are charging her well over £200 as a disconnection fee. To leave a home she doesn’t actually want to leave.

@virginmedia *sigh* it’s ok. I was overreacting too - I had some stuff I was working on and I felt that it was my router that was at fault. Once I knew it was a network issue I was able to relax (and subsequently used 5gb of my mobile data allowance) - at least my hardware still works!

@virginmedia no broadband, WiFi or TV services in the SE7 area until 5pm today is completely unacceptable for people working from home. Engineering faults should not be happening during the day. £8 compensation is absolute peanuts. Very poor indeed.

@virginmedia your customer service is unbelievably pathetic. You think paying me £50 discount will resolve my contempt for your service, well it won’t. It took you 6 weeks before anyone even contacted me. I pay for 300 meg WiFi, I’m lucky if I get 20.

@virginmedia I don't think this was the case. Your CC agent clearly stated they have been working on outage issues in the area since June/July 2020 its all on record as you do record your calls. I asked him why we hadn't been advised about this and he tried he's best to not answer.

@virginmedia I have had no service and you told me on phone you have no record of me logging issue which is blatant lie. I was on calls to yourself in December for hours. A contract needs to be adhered on both parties you haven’t hence I want monies back and compensation

Question for you @virginmedia how long does a TiVo box last? Had mine for years now and continually lose sound , TV guide just shows “to be announced” or completely freezes, even after going through network and making sure it’s all connected. Think it’s on its last legs

@virginmedia This "Someone is already logged in" glitch is making your service almost unusable as you keep automatically switching my wifi channel even though I specifically set it up not to and then I can't log in to change it back. Seriously considering switching ISP
