    @virginmedia After the two hour chat, it was finally resolved. Wife have arranged an internet connection to our new flat before this(with Virgin btw), took 5 minutes. Lot of hoops to jump through to cancel, when I just wanted to get it over with. No offers, just cancel.

    @virginmedia But cutting people off to enforce this is unethical, besides no previous communication has indicated this and the solution is not convenient with where they want to do this and no suggestion to reposition my hub

    @virginmedia No I have not and at no stage has any one or any virgin media Web site indicated to do so I have as stated spent hrs on the phone talking to yr people about the problem and now you suggest this I am totally fed up ringing VIRGIN MEDIA and constantly going over the same things.

    @virginmedia No effort is made to rectify the problem they just want to change to VOIP with no regard to a customer who spends over £1200 a bear for all devices, I wonder what offcom would think

    @BigupJeff @virginmedia Yeah, unfortunately. We are okay with the service, that’s why we kept it in the new one, but the customer service is a joke. Had @Hyperoptic once, was absolutely brilliant. Too bad it’s rarely available.

    @virginmedia You have given me a number 0345 454 111 which doesn't exist come on this is getting ridiculous also tried 150 has no option 3 and takes me straight back to someone who wants to do a diagnostic check and I am also using a virgin phone just how bad does this get

    @virginmedia someone on your 0800 number told us to ring back at 9pm, said she would be there till 10pm. Tried to call at 9 pm no one there. Disgusting customer service.

    @virginmedia Self install as we had determined the tivo box was faulty they sent one but its obviously never been activated from your end despite the hrs I've spent online trying to get it done no one I speak to has a clue what there doing constantly going thro diagnostics not activating it.

    @Mike_Randazzo1 @virginmedia Oh, they did let me cancel, but I had to answer about 3 “last question”s before they proceeded 5 minute response time on chat, took me nearly two hours, after the 4 hours it took to connect an agent. We could get a contract with a credit check in 5 minutes.

    @0Bfkx @danjconn @virginmedia Don’t doubt it - one time they wanted me to disconnect my HiveHub before they would help because “we don’t support 3rd routers”. It’s a bloody heating control unit. Nowadays I have their hub in modem mode and use my own WiFi gear - first thing they do is back to router mode.

    @virginmedia I'm now being told that installation has been cancelled. If I hadn't called I would never have known that and would have expected it on the 25th. I have never, ever had a day like this with any company. Truly mind-boggling.

    @virginmedia my internet keeps going on and off all the time and it's annoying and you want an extra £2.50 a month! For what? Horrible service, a website that doesn't work and false claims made about problems to sell more expensive packages! I find it disgusting to be honest!

    @virginmedia You need to get you self sorted ASAP. We have had nothing but trouble with you for months now when my daughter needs the internet for school. 2 days we have had to spend away from home so she doesn't miss tests. Don't think we will be staying with you much longer!!!
