  • Will527 William Clark (@Will527) reported from London, England

@VodafoneUK @SamsungUK I would not trust Vodafone with a 5G connection! They are still to connect my Apple Watch series 4 data plan and it’s been 4 weeks. @Apple their handling of new technology is pretty poor and I don’t think their infrastructure is set up with the client in mind!!

  • Will527 William Clark (@Will527) reported from London, England

@EE Hello EE. I am desperate to move from @VodafoneUK as after 4 weeks they still can’t connect my Apple Watch series 4 to a data plan! Can you help. I have been a client of theirs for over 10 years. @Apple your product is being compromised by your contract with @VodafoneUK.

  • jjmatthews12 Josh (@jjmatthews12) reported from Richmond, England

@VodafoneUK Awful non-service in store today. Waited 20 mins whilst staff tried to help someone with a Spotify login. Didn’t even get a hello or be with you shortly. Was going to going to discuss an upgrade. Now thinking I’ll change networks.

  • HFrancesMurray Helen Murray (@HFrancesMurray) reported from London, England

Kinda reeling from a very bad encounter with a @VodafoneUK, online help person wondering if I should bother with Round 2 or just cry 😭

  • Lesley_C12 Lesley Carter (@Lesley_C12) reported from Richmond, England

@VodafoneUK That’s the first place I went to when I had a problem. I’ve done all that. Both. The tv goes in and out of fuzziness when using apps and my phone apps constantly dip

  • Jonny_young3 Jonny Young (@Jonny_young3) reported from Camden Town, England

@VodafoneUK hi, you have a problem with the alarm on your High Holborn, London store and have done for a week now (constantly going off). As a resident of the area, it is really f**king annoying, so if you could sort it out that would be so great.

  • Mstechcs Martin Schultz (@Mstechcs) reported from Moor Park, England

@VodafoneUK I’m aware of the speed excuse but the reception is poor for the whole journey even when the train is stationary. It’s about time this problem was sorted out. With regard to WiFi - it’s not secure to use public WiFi - hence it’s not used.

  • Carrot79 Kate Powell (@Carrot79) reported from Camden Town, England

Have to use my O2 hotspot as @VodafoneUK data is now so poor 😖

  • mart_brooks Martin A. Brooks (@mart_brooks) reported from London, England

@VodafoneUK I was asked to visit a Vodafone store and I did and they said they can't do anything... @VodafoneUK you never fail to disappoint with your services. Be it India or UK..

  • benwood Ben Wood (@benwood) reported from Slough, England

More bad news for @HuaweiMobile as @VodafoneUK pauses pre-orders for the Huawei Mate 20X (5G). Just a few days ago this felt like a very different opportunity.

  • EdRennie Ed Rennie (@EdRennie) reported from Windsor, England

@VodafoneUK are literally the biggest jokers in the world. Customer service is an absolute shambles and nothing ever seems to get sorted with them! Can’t wait to leave when this contract is up!!

  • 1975jpm Jules Mason (@1975jpm) reported from London Colney, England

@VodafoneUK customer service right now 😱😡👎🏾, although the staff in the Covent Garden store are 👍🏾

  • GSF0371 Gavyn Fresco (@GSF0371) reported from Radlett, England

@VodafoneGroup @VodafoneUK . Quite simply the worst customer relations department I have had the misfortune to deal with. Call after call since February! If I hear the word escalate one more time I will scream!! Useless beyond words.

  • HoarseRoar eamorugby (@HoarseRoar) reported from Hounslow, England

@bt_uk thank you for the letter offering of 100 mbps 4 £60 a month. . Shame your current proposition I am paying for is rubbish. Yes I have turned it off and back on again. Looking forward to speaking with you about this tomorrow. Message courtesy of @VodafoneUK network.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • happyborg happyborg: decentralising & democratising (@happyborg) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I conclude that this is a problem with size and that humanity doesn't scale. Not all big cos behave like the Mafia, but most fail us in these kinds of ways because *we* have laws that let them put profit before people. This is anti human and will crush us unless we change system.

  • Rantcentric Rantometer (@Rantcentric) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot You misunderstand. He doesn't want to have to jump through another hundred hoops in the hope of getting a result. He wants YOU to take ownership of the problem, have ONE person deal with it until it's resolved. It's called customer services, not: minimal effort until they go away

  • catherinerusse2 Catherine Russell (@catherinerusse2) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Good and thank you. Had exactly the same situation with my Dad years ago. I set him up a @vodafoneUK account which he never used as he died days later. Dreadful service.

  • HaveAnEpic Simply Epic (@HaveAnEpic) reported

@VodafoneUK @SoundyPirkko ******…after this I’ll cancel all my families contacts asap and move elsewhere!!

  • susank2 Susan Kennedy (@susank2) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK We left them many years ago because of their shoddy customers service. @gordongkennedy spent hours arguing with them and no one had died. I can't imagine how awful that has been for your Dad and family.

  • benno44775 Beano (@benno44775) reported

@JaneEllanVannin @VodafoneUK @giffgaff Sorry to hear that George. Might be time to change network!

  • missisbee fiona brown (@missisbee) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Seems to be a problem with other phone providers too. Months after we sent my dad’s death certificate etc phone company threatened my mum with debt collectors and kept asking to speak to my dad! Only got sorted when we threatened them with going to the regulator.

  • happyborg happyborg: decentralising & democratising (@happyborg) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had completely the opposite experience when my dad died and we need to cancel his @Guardian subscription. It was literally the easiest thing I had to do at the time. Lloyds Bank bereavement service cocked things up. All staff were great but it lead to them giving mum £500.

  • itzmemikeyd Michael D riseparty.org.uk #refugeeswelcome (@itzmemikeyd) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Judging by the staff I've known that work at their Shared Service Centre in Budapest, it's always struck me as a miserable and aggressive company to work for. Horrible place they say. That's company culture where the attitude from the top permeates the whole entity.

  • jennybowden50 Jenny Bowden (@jennybowden50) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot Dear life!! @vodaphoneUK do you seriously consider this to be acceptable customer service?? Suggesting that someone who has been treated so badly should speak to a BOT!!!
