    @VodafoneUK if you can't provide a broadband service it's BREECH OF TRADING STANDARDS. I spent an hour on the phone this eve no one answers. It's taken 100 mins to watch 40 mins of a film coz of all the buffering. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

    @VodafoneUK I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated today. I have been charged over £50 for being 2gig over an account I asked to be capped. I have been blamed for not checking my account. This is the second time that I have cancelled my account. Never again

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Absolutely agree. I left them after they failed to cap or even let me know my usage during one month suddenly rose to over £200, whereas my normal monthly bill was £30. Completely rude and unhelpful customer service. I left and always advise others not to join them.

Shocked to get a threatening debt letter to say I had outstanding amount. But worst was trying to get hold of an actual person to talk to. Impossible.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Customer service no longer exists in the UK - the same with @virginmedia as well, it’s all automated ‘press this button’ and nothing gets sorted, then the people you do talk with have no interest in helping. I’m sorry for your loss & this sort of attitude doesn’t help at all

All of them insisted I make an appointment and visit a branch with previous statements. Just what I needed whilst trying to deal with the loss of what had been the better half of me for 34 years.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I feel for you, recently found that 3 had billed me for over a year after I cancelled an account, their excuse, no other mobile company activated the code to activate a transfer so they restarted my contract. I wasn’t aware I was legally required to goto another network.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Unfortunately they are all the same. It depends on who you get on the phone. I assume will be about targets? So.. they will all have DISCRETION to help and 'make the exception' but when it goes down as an attempt to close down an account, and they won't do it - £££££ bonus time.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @rbstrng @VodafoneUK Just as bad service when hiring cars abroad...landed shattered with 2 hour journey to destination, providers rep spoke little English but showed us an estimate.This included refill, return charges, PA insce none of which were relevant or necessary. On our credit card bill !!!

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It’s really sad that this had happened to your family. Some companies have dedicated teams to help out families after a death to cancel accounts. Suggestion. If you don’t currently have such a system @VodafoneUK I suggest that you consider one.

    @GeorgeMonbiot What you and your family has been through is tough enough without @VodafoneUK causing more distress😢😢😢 my phone reception cut out 3 times on the night I found my lovely wife had passed away in our home, I've asked for the issue to be fixed and compensation, and got nothing😢
