  • rahelab Rahel Bailie (@rahelab) reported from Camberwell, England

@bt_uk Both had trouble hooking up the fibre, and then I got a text saying it might be Weeks before sometime else comes out. And now, I'm told that someone will come out, though time travelling back to yesterday.

  • KristinaWallen Kristina Wallen (@KristinaWallen) reported from Richmond, England

@BTCare what a shoddy rubbish service you are @DunlopPhoto - just simple internet connection from 19th March ?? Goodness me how rubbish can you be? We have businesses to run @HARPwallen #simplyrubbish

  • DrStevenChapman Steven Chapman (@DrStevenChapman) reported from Croydon, England

Pretty vexed that after two hours talking to @bt_uk we will be without internet and phone for at least another two weeks. They failed to tell us there was a problem with our order, when we made it and we have to reorder again ourselves even though it’s their mistake !!!!!

  • MJ_Wong Michael Wong (@MJ_Wong) reported from Barnet, England

Please can some in authority help we get my business up and running? How do they get way with it!?!?!? Has anyone had a positive experience with @bt_uk.

  • agustin Agustin Pesciallo (@agustin) reported from Camberwell, England

@virginmedia Yes, down for two days and when i called yesterday they said it was gonna be fixed today and it is not. I work from home. I have already spent my @EE mobile iNet and I'm buying @bt_uk passes. How can I cancel the service and move to other provider?

  • Starfox118 Vaughn Highfield (@Starfox118) reported from Tottenham, England

Honestly had it with @bt_uk. Moved house, they botched moving internet so we were without it. Tried to upsell to more expensive contract to solve "issue" despite my speed already halving due to move. Got the Hybrid Connect device today and it's crap. Can't find a 4G signal

  • Goonerlover69 ⚜GOONERLOVER69⚜ (@Goonerlover69) reported from Croydon, England

@bt_uk BT your doing my head in! Switched to digital in my area, I never received anything, I've had no home phone for 2wks, got sent a digital thingy to plus in still not working I'm losing my patience, tomorrow customer services again!☹

  • anton_georgiou Cllr Anton Georgiou 🔶 (@anton_georgiou) reported from Brentford, England

My 84 year old grandmother has not had a working landline since 29th May. She has not been able to make or receive calls. @bt_uk are aware of the issues and despite welfare concerns seem unwilling to urgently resolve the problem. Very poor customer service!!

  • DrStevenChapman Steven Chapman (@DrStevenChapman) reported from Kingston upon Thames, England

@bt_uk So we need to re book our order and wait for openreach to turn off the old line. The issues are 1 BT did not tell us there was a problem 2 We have to re order ourselves and 3 we are still paying direct debits - even though there is no service. I realise we will get a refund

  • PaulKohlerSW19 Cllr Paul Kohler🔶SW19 (@PaulKohlerSW19) reported from Merton, England

@bt_uk I know no more than what I’ve told you. Cannot help thinking it would be quicker for you to forward my message to the relevant department than type a response asking me to go through further hoops…

  • DiscoverWatamu DiscoverWatamu (@DiscoverWatamu) reported from Wandsworth, England

@btbusinesscare is there a problem with the internet in SW11? It is either very slow or non existent today

  • Elliottrawstron Elliott Rawstron (@Elliottrawstron) reported from Wandsworth, England

@bt_uk we’ve just had the second engineer round to try and sort out our internet and it’s still not working. Every time I call no one has a solution. How do I get this fixed!?

  • Elliottrawstron Elliott Rawstron (@Elliottrawstron) reported from Wandsworth, England

@bt_uk It’s just so poor. You’ve consistently made me upgrade, charged more money and it’s only made things worse.

  • rahelab Rahel Bailie (@rahelab) reported from Camberwell, England

@bt_uk Nope, they fixed my billing problem, thanks.

  • Elliottrawstron Elliott Rawstron (@Elliottrawstron) reported from Wandsworth, England

@bt_uk Why would we want bad internet speed spread across a wider area. The reason we have it is to get internet across a wider area at good speeds

  • Winemonday Pam (@Winemonday) reported from Richmond, England

@bt_uk 5 weeks to wait for WiFi to then be told I need an engineer ! I am exasperated at the awful service I’ve received just for doing a home move. If it wasn’t for a £190 get out fee I would leave.

  • Elliottrawstron Elliott Rawstron (@Elliottrawstron) reported from Wandsworth, England

@bt_uk I understand. I am explaining that the speed in areas which was good is now not good since using “complete wi-if”. So it has negatively impacted everything. I have spoken to multiple people and logged a complaint. I would like someone to call me to sort or discuss compensation

  • janemeans Jane Means (@janemeans) reported from Paddington, England

@bt_uk Why have you cut off my elderly parents wifi & phone for no reason when they’ve paid to date? They’re vulnerable & req f/t care & rely on these svcs Dire situation as they live in a rural area w no mobile signal & their carers can’t contact them #BT #HELP @MoneyTelegraph

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • embedded_iot Alex (@embedded_iot) reported

@andysc @alister_ware @bt_uk Wondering if you can down clock the Pi to save more power?

  • bhavyatyagi Bhavya Tyagi (@bhavyatyagi) reported

Hry @bt_uk raised a fault last week and still haven't got any update .. it's been 4 days without WiFi .. and the customer service call does not get connected for .. just keeps in queue.. Any updates would be useful.

  • whaleygeek David Whale (micro:bit wizard) (@whaleygeek) reported

@andysc @JamesBulpin @bt_uk It just shows, nobody cares about saving energy as a first class problem. But everyone cares if they suddenly can't afford it. A good way to force innovation and behaviour change, is to constrain resources.

  • adamridesagain Adam Rides Again (@adamridesagain) reported

@bt_uk After I've skipped the "I'm going to cancel" options (because I'm not going to cancel), I'm back to the same menu I get on 150.

  • andysc Andy Stanford-Clark (@andysc) reported

@whaleygeek @JamesBulpin @bt_uk Nice idea! I wonder how much of my “on prem” compute I’d need to move to the Cloud if I turned off the pipes at night, though… it’s just moving the problem, though I bet there’s a significant economy of scale “up there”

  • beth_kitson Dr Beth Kitson (@beth_kitson) reported

Could anyone recommend a broadband provider that is *not* @bt_uk? Our wifi has been down for over three weeks now, and our pre-arranged appointments have been cancelled (without telling us) four times.

  • AlanMacleod14 Alan Macleod (@AlanMacleod14) reported

Day 75 since I ordered broadband from @bt_uk and still no connection, no idea when there might be a connection, and another level of ‘escalation’ that doesn’t go anywhere from the BT support team who seem to think it’s ok to just ‘call back in 10 days with an update’. #BT

  • harlequin_1963 Gary Mackenzie (@harlequin_1963) reported

@bt_uk Weird, I had to report a faulty line to you, which was a result of that broken cable. Lines being damaged were reported to an engineer fixing another line, but as he hadn't been called out to it, he wasn't interested. I may get an engineer (BT SMS automated answer) in 48 hrs

  • chaengtube Simon (@chaengtube) reported

@KateYNWA @bt_uk You fixed it. I'm having a similar issue I think. Download speeds are fine but my ping is crazy high rn

  • leewardle3 lee wardle (@leewardle3) reported

@bt_uk Look into the old accounts and see yourself..no explanations given just cancelled twice. Service stopped. Then requiring next payment account closed 6 oct both complaints stopped by you. No reason given. Data request for deletion stopped as still a customer.
