@btbusinesscare Well I hope it is soon. I can’t express how disastrous and costly this has been to our charity. The worst thing is, when we called, you just didn’t care... no sense of urgency, no empathy for our situation. How awful we have to call you out on Twitter before we can get action?

@andysc @JamesBulpin @bt_uk It just shows, nobody cares about saving energy as a first class problem. But everyone cares if they suddenly can't afford it. A good way to force innovation and behaviour change, is to constrain resources.

@bradburymark @bt_uk True, but I’d leave the broadband on if I went out to work… My “on prem” servers need their data fix!

@alister_ware @bt_uk It’s not a “problem”, it just seems like a lot of Watts to run an internet connection. If the same job could be done for half the Watts, for several million houses, that would save the country a power station or two …
-
scotty russell

@btsport stop trying to squeeze every last penny out of folk by putting @ufc events on box office. What’s the point in paying for a service only to then have to pay more?

@whaleygeek @JamesBulpin @bt_uk Nice idea! I wonder how much of my “on prem” compute I’d need to move to the Cloud if I turned off the pipes at night, though… it’s just moving the problem, though I bet there’s a significant economy of scale “up there”
