@bt_uk Hello, myself and 4 neighbours have all lost our WiFi since a BT technician did some work at a neighbour’s this morning. We’re told it’ll be 16 DAYS before we get our internet back. I’m not even a BT customer - but please can you help as we’re all working at home?

  • Pryor_27

  • SusanFourtane

@bt_uk Just that you know, it’s a hotel business and this issue really needs to be fixed today. Customers are getting angry, as you can imagine. Who’s goi g to pay for the damage of bad reviews? Please, consider reporting this to someone who could fix the WiFi connection.

  • Jaklloyd
𝕁𝕒𝕔𝕢𝕦𝕚 𝕃𝕝𝕠𝕪𝕕 (@Jaklloyd) reported from Horsham, England

Congrats @bt_uk - you really are spectacularly inept! I’ve played nicely, waited patiently and spent hours on your chat function trying to resolve an issue. You’ve even closed the complaint (after taking no action!) I now have to resort to this. #customerservice #epicfail #bt

  • whambam__
Hannah Bamford (@whambam__) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Spoke to 2 people @bt_uk today. One on live chat who palmed me straight off on someone else, started a complaint but then couldn’t be bothered to finish it. The next guy was more helpful - clearly sick and tired of having to deal with all these issues. 2/3 (sorry there’s more)

  • zamorasdream
Jane 💚💚 (@zamorasdream) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

Poor commentary from @btsport. Constant chatter about Spurs and we don't have 2 Malian internationals #bhafc

  • Tim_J_Murray
Tim Murray 🇬🇧🔶🇪🇺 (@Tim_J_Murray) reported from Uckfield, England

@bt_uk I had an email today about the need to update email settings. I am really unsure how us roving amateur family tech-support people will ensure that our distant elderly relatives won’t lose their essential email during #lockdown

  • katb217
Kat Blakeborough (@katb217) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@bt_uk help! How can I cancel my grandads by sports subscription?! There’s nothing on your website to help me with this! #frustrated

  • brznbeer
BRZN (@brznbeer) reported from Hove, England

@bt_uk hey guys - my internet is dropping out often again. The router seems to be ok after running thru the no connection help a couple of times. I’m not at home often so not sure what total downtime is but it’s been out each time I’ve come home from work.

  • garypleece
Gary Pleece (@garypleece) reported from Brighton and Hove, England

@BBCMOTD This commentary on @btsport is unbelievable! Every 2 seconds how bad BMG are interspersed with how brilliant RM are. Just shut up! Going on and on... 😩

  • catallaxer
    𝙲𝚊𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚊𝚡𝚎𝚛 (@catallaxer) reported

@omotforest @bt_uk @openreach Fully accept your point. However, you are missing out. 1 gigabit+ speeds really are worth it. 2.5 gigabit is next. You will never get that over copper or satellite. Copper is being phased out.

  • Ang_ryScotsman
    Angry Scotsman (@Ang_ryScotsman) reported

@bt_uk Every time I go into the support we spend two hours. They do automated tests from some call centre abroad and tell me that my system's working fine. It hasn't been working fine since November so I'm just waiting to leave my contract.

  • Banksie_FB5
    Gary Banks (@Banksie_FB5) reported

@bt_uk I was told, on Sun, that it was planned 2b here Mon. Then told Mon it was planned 2b here Tues. Now told tomorrow. If the engineer had tested his work before he left I may not have been in this position! Now I’ve had to cancel a job of work “in case” this persists! #unacceptable

    Andrew Potts (@ah_potts) reported

@bt_uk @cakey12 Broadband gone down, try logging into the app, do the 2 step verification, then select manage my account and it tries to load then goes back to the login screen. (s there a general issue?

  • Gizmo83508413
    Gizmo (@Gizmo83508413) reported

@bt_uk Done that already. I might be going mad here. It's your sodding website. It shouldn't be down to me to chase a fix ETA on a fundamental problem you have. This should be information on the website and with you, surely?

  • e4290936
    jack250213 (@e4290936) reported

@bt_uk calling itself 'customer centric ' grates with me after an internal transfer of my broadband went horribly wrong, then four hard searches on my creditworthiness and three attempts to get BT broadband and a TV package also successfully completed by phone after a time on the phone that I regret all fell through with no explanation or apology. Customer centric? You are having a laugh BT!

  • brian_mcbride1
    Brian McBride (@brian_mcbride1) reported

@bt_uk With respect, I wasn't suggesting you look at my account, but simply asking if this problem of BT customers unable to access their account & there appear to be, have BT HQ put out an internal notice to the social media team? It looks like the 'guides' are aware but you aren't
