Jon Burke ๐ (@jonburkeUK) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Can Tom Tugendhat MP explain why he thinks we shouldnโt build the kind of - excellent value - safe cycling infrastructure that characterises affluent societies like the Netherlands because, err, private companies canโt provide him with a decent phone signal?
-
Barbara Richardson (@Barbara25122320) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Iโm in Dulwich too. Wasnโt it Boris and his cycling Czar who gave us cycle lanes and closed roads? What did your party do in government to improve mobile service?

๐๐๐ ๐ (@a_n_n__m) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Canterbury has dreadful mobile network coverage too. Wherever else I go in the world, itโs not a problem.
-
Greg - Israelite in Exile (surviving the Galut) (@anexiledjew) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE There's a really easy solution. I've seen this in other countries, and there's no reason it can't be implemented in the UK. Because these networks don't have the ability or will to properly cover the entire country, there's absolutely no reason we can't have domestic roaming in the same way we have international roaming. They wouldn't have to charge for it (although I'd pay if I had to) because every single mobile network would benefit from it. If you can't get an EE signal, for example, you would roam to Vodafone instead. It could be switched on instantly with no expensive engineering needed, but they choose not to do this.
-
fell (@fellbytheway) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE is that a government issue or the network provider lack of investment ?
-
Lucifer's Consigliere (@666_Consigliere) reported@EE @TomTugendhat Get lost. This is bigger than Tomโs issue today. Everyone knows that it is a big problem across the country.
-
CookieBuoy (@RyanNoKneel) reported@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Charge it to the taxpayer on expenses and get the govt to bankrupt them. And then **** off, parasite
