@icklenellierose My rental house has Plusnet and it is very unreliable, constantly dropping out for no reason. They’re not as bad as EE (in my previous rental), but still pretty poor. It could just be a case of you need a new router.

@Ofcom @Plusnet are letting you sign up to a contract when there’s a distinct chance the firmware they are using on their hardware is causing connectivity problems specifically with the 5Ghz band. Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?

@plusnethelp I've just noticed I cannot connect to my WiFi on my android phone in the front room of my house today. Wasn't an issue yesterday. Only upgraded to Plusnet this year to help with home schooling and haven't received the promised speeds either. Any suggestions?

@Plusnet I’ve had your broadband service for 2 months, mobile phones won’t work on it and WiFi signal continually drops out. Tried separating the bands then spent 20 minuets in hold and was advised to try turning the 5Ghz band off completely. No joy. No one is doing me proud.

@nowtvhelp I've been told by BT that I can't uninstall NOW TV on a YouView box also it's not just me customers with BT Plusnet also got the same problem as me breaking up pictures freezing pictures I've been a lot of forums and they still complaints going on about the NOW TV app on YouView

Any of my fellow tweeps on PlusNet for their mobile? I’m currently on EE & my 2 year contract ends next month, so looking for cheap sim only deal on a network that piggybacks on EE’s network. A 30 day sim only contract with 30GB data, unlimited mins/texts is £10 p/m. Any reviews?

And re the cheap mob, my main handset that I use as a hotspot needs a battery change (I have to dismantle it) so I recently bought an emergency cheap one purely as a back up hotspot if my handset dies. It's only the Alcatel £40 but it def has a hotspot.

@celticwitch1995 I had sky with no problems.Then cancelled all of it including tv and got broadband from plusnet and it was absolute crap!They admitted it and let me leave contract with compen.Back with sky broadband with absolutely no problems.Think it depends where you live and how far from box
