  • kevindewes Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Plusnet I’ve had your broadband service for 2 months, mobile phones won’t work on it and WiFi signal continually drops out. Tried separating the bands then spent 20 minuets in hold and was advised to try turning the 5Ghz band off completely. No joy. No one is doing me proud.

  • Gutbuster40 Gary Reynolds (@Gutbuster40) reported from Barnet, England

@Plusnet no connection again , wtf , can’t wait till October when contract ends

I thought customer service couldn’t get any worse until I dealt with @Plusnet @plusnethelp , several messages and dm but still no reply

  • Wattsit01 Vikki (@Wattsit01) reported from Swanley, England

@plusnethelp I've just noticed I cannot connect to my WiFi on my android phone in the front room of my house today. Wasn't an issue yesterday. Only upgraded to Plusnet this year to help with home schooling and haven't received the promised speeds either. Any suggestions?

  • Skypirate_ 🎩 Luke Ray ルーク レイ (@Skypirate_) reported from Sutton at Hone, England

So nobody been living in this flat since last year but apparently there was a cease order on my phone line switchover? What ********? I'm guessing someone in the plusnet team doesn't 100% know what they are talking about.

  • Harrison20202 Harrison2020 (@Harrison20202) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Plusnet I couldn't get on the Internet. Later, they provided engineer visit services and told me that actually I don't need to connect to the Microfilter as required on the handbook, but just use the cable to connect to the socket. Then the network can be used.

  • EngHanrahan Mr H 🦡 (@EngHanrahan) reported from Walthamstow, England

@Plusnet hey guy, my adsl speed dropped to 2mb yesterday and now it won’t connect at all, would you be able to help?

  • kevindewes Kevin Dewes (@kevindewes) reported from Wandsworth, England

@Ofcom @Plusnet are letting you sign up to a contract when there’s a distinct chance the firmware they are using on their hardware is causing connectivity problems specifically with the 5Ghz band. Meaning the service is almost unusable on some devices. Isn’t that an issue?

  • DrummerboySJ1 The Drummerboy ✨🇬🇧🇬🇭 (@DrummerboySJ1) reported from Enfield Lock, England

@OpenreachHelp @WeAreOpenreach @Plusnet Absolutely terrible service from both parties. Your engineers have shown absolute negligence and lack of understanding of the job they have been contracted to do, and as a result has had a negative effect on my business.

  • Harrison20202 Harrison2020 (@Harrison20202) reported from Wandsworth, England

    I feel deeply disgusting and humiliated because I used Plusnet's service.@plusnethelp @Plusnet

Plusnet Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • colin1951uk Colin Knight (@colin1951uk) reported

@BanahanJayne @MoneySavingExp @virginmedia It sounds to me like you’ve got tv in that package, broadband on its own wouldn’t be so expensive. Whatever get out of it penalty free & maybe try Plusnet or TalkTalk (who I use,) there’s no difference in the service speeds, it’s just customer support that’s lacking. Good luck.

  • gabbygabbybrook gabby@gabbybrooks (@gabbygabbybrook) reported

@Plusnet I have just become a Plusnet customer and had to have @WeAreOpenreach to install a new box. Just found out that the engineer has stolen a necklace and Plusnet don't want to know...they employ thieves to come into your house and aren't interested. Disgraceful!

  • SarahLachlann Sarah Lachlann (@SarahLachlann) reported

@mrlockyer Hands down @plusnet 6 months if my life I’m not getting back.

  • CitroenAcadiane Citroën Acadiane - aka Mat Tuck 🚘 📷 📚 🏳️‍🌈🎵 (@CitroenAcadiane) reported

@thedogman_918 @virginmedia Depending on where you live if you switch provider check that the provider has their own equipment in your local exchange. If they piggyback service on to BTs equipment you can end up with speed problems as BT will prioritise their own customers.Try Plusnet, BT without the shite.

  • George43148193 George (@George43148193) reported

@Plusnet your broadband gets worse every month, down to 5 mbs, which matches your poor website too, looking howvto cancel my contract!!!

  • WillSGaming1 WillSGaming (@WillSGaming1) reported

@kitgurupress Er, well, Openreach/Plusnet was tolerable with download of 33Mbps, but intolerable with upload of 1.5Mbps. Virgin maxes out my home plug network (I shall be fixing this with money and hardwiring) so I only see 40Mbps of my connection at the PC (boo), but I get 10Mbps upload

  • DelphineSYL Delphine Sylvain (@DelphineSYL) reported

@Plusnet @plusnethelp Terrible customer service. I had issues with my broadband for 4 months now, I called Plusnet at least 30 times, they always told me that there were no issues. Only 2 issues were logged (after 4 month).

  • rowanmack @RowanMcManus (@rowanmack) reported

Hi, we recently got plusnet fibre broadband but the wifi keeps going off and we have to put the password in each time. How can I solve this issue?

  • IanSmithLFC Ian Smith (@IanSmithLFC) reported

@Bowie7Bow Dunno mate, Plusnet booked it after I spoke to their online bloke. They’ve identified a fault that needs an engineer to come and fix. They’re probably also sick of me calling and moaning!

  • karlwhitehouse Karl Whitehouse #StayHomeSaveLives 💙 (@karlwhitehouse) reported

@rob3047 A lot of people I know been having trouble with Plusnet with speeds especially someone I know who has the bt cab outside his house paying for a 76mb connection only getting 512mb and told him to mention a name then suddenly speed was back up.
