Only upgraded to Plusnet this year to help with home schooling and haven't received the promised speeds either. Any suggestions?

But try calling them "sorry we close at 8pm". Time to cancel my Direct Debit? That might get their attention! What a joke.

My internet connection has been really unstable the last few days; it'll have periods of being fine, and then be up and down ten times in half an hour. Ofcom rules state that if a provider makes a change to your contract that is of "material detriment" (meaning it makes you worse off), they must allow you to leave the contract early without paying a cancellation fee.
