@SkyHelpTeam Continuing the painful saga of my mother’s broadband, her amazing fibre service was finally activated on Monday. Her speed is now just 0.5MB, ie more than twice as rubbish as it was before. You couldn’t make it up. Call me please.

@OpenreachHelp Thanks @OpenreachHelp. My provider (@SkyHelpTeam) says ‘soon’ but also ‘2-5 days’ for an estimated fix. So which is it? My view for what it’s worth is ‘soon’ expired some time ago. 2 days, 1 hr, 23mins and counting. No ETA and you don’t have access to the fault information. 😐

@SkyHelpTeam If the engineer is running late surely courtesy would dictate I was informed. I have had to take the whole day off now to accommodate SKY. Awful experience all round. If no sign in next hour I will cancel and return to Virgin

@Tonysop13463030 @SkySports They’re trying their best, bless them, to drag a story out involving 5 or so individuals, out of a population of 68 million, to suit their weird narrative. It exists in tiny pockets, but it is not a problem in the UK. Nowhere near like it was 40-60 years ago, not even close.
