By far the worst experience/experiences I’ve had by @SkyUK - shameful! 2 weeks+ of phone calls (14 to be precise!) and you still can’t resolve the issue. And I’ve been honest and told you that you’ve sent me an extra phone and watch!

@digitalmuggle @SkySports Exactly. Supermarkets would never get way with forcing you to buy three tins of baked beans, two loaves of bread and a pomegranate every time you wanted to buy a frozen ready meal, so why do TV stations force you to subscribe to buy channels you don't want to watch?

@SkyHelpTeam I managed to find the help line number on screen and phoned that. They were able to check From your end and apparently it's an external fault. You are sending an engineer out within the next 48 hours.

@SkyHelpTeam Every person is being directed to the the issues page, it says "no issues in your area" - which is plainly false. Checking our lines just results in you trying to charge for an engineer visit to our house, which clearly won't help.

@SkyHelpTeam Did you read my tweet? I've got an engineer booked by your support team to fix the problem. But this is clearly an area fault not something that can be fixed from my house. Also the IVR thing, pls fix that so we don't have to wait for the robot to finish talking to press digits

@SkyHelpTeam So your suggestion to use the “live diary” which is um Online, when the issue is the broadband. 🤔 Perhaps noting the volume of issues in one area and letting customers know there is an issue and you’re aware and will sort ASAP. Better than a mediocre test connection reply.

Also with adding that @SkyUk offered no compensation. Just that its standard to wait five days to get someone to even look at the problem. Even then no timeline to fix. Wish we all worked in such a casual world when it came to SLAs
