    Remote support for a friend’s computer that was having strange issues. Teamviewer failed to connect so I figured this was related. An hour’s debugging later and it turns out the ISP (TalkTalk) is blocking Teamviewer as it’s used by scammers.

    @UB5simon I'm on TalkTalk. They're not perfect but my research tells me none of them are. I hardly ever get connectivity problems & they're cheap. I now find the best approach to customer services is to avoid them unless 100% necessary, which means only when I have a hardware problem.

    @TalkTalk I’ve been on the phone for over 40 mins. Called one number first (the one on the website) to freeze our account while we move home. Been told to call another number to do so, been waiting on the line for over 20 mins. Shouldn’t be this difficult for a customer (1)

    It’s like shooting fish in a barrel and I’m sure others have pointed it out but: Dido Harding is best known for presiding over huge data breach at TalkTalk - and now facing huge data issues at Test and Trace. IT does not seem to be a strong point.

    @CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

    @TalkTalk engineer came to connect my service - (new customer) dreadful and made no effort. Said he could not connect and left without a word. Before he left he complained his 9 weeks furlough was not enough! No wonder he never connected me. No heart in it. Dreadful

    @MayVJay @TalkTalk Oh how awful! TalkTalk should implement much better systems for recording who has permission to access an account - other providers can do it. You said the problem is ongoing - have they said what they're going to do next and how long it will take?

    @FrankEHaschka @TalkTalk Disappointed to see no reply from TalkTalk. I don't work for them but it sounds like a fault on the line. Likelihood is every time you reboot router, TalkTalk will lower the provisioning speed, so that's not a long term fix. Call the office if you want some help 02922528987

    @TalkTalk called two weeks ago with no WiFi, said you couldn’t get an engineer out until today and then this morning I get a text saying they might not turn up and they’ll be in touch, then nothing. Absolutely appalling customer service

    So @TalkTalk reached out to deal with my ‘issue’ via Twitter. It’s been 24hrs, 3 people and NO RESOLVE. It’s as though they connect, take my query then disappear until I reach out again and it’s now another Agent. @TalkTalkGroup AWFUL

    @Graz_Jakomini @JeanneBartram best is TalkTalk: we don't want to TalkTalk to our customers at all, esp if our network is down and we omitted to TalkTalk to you about it. TalkTalk: the Communications company that doesn't know how to communicate
