So 76 year old isolating parents only have access to family via internet cant upgrade their poor package - bought them a portal and it’s connection is poor due to @TalkTalk lack of service and care.

@RSdriver00 @TalkTalk That is very poor. Never been with them, but heard a few tales. Best way is to find new provider and they will migrate across. When I left Virgin I went back to BT 6 years ago now, was the best decision, but varies a lot depending on post code. Good luck!

@TalkTalk I’m using the main TV antenna! The screen does not say there are any errors. I’ve given up calling the tech support because of language barriers & their impatience! I’d prefer an engineer visit. I can take the necessary precautions to facilitate this!😷

My @TalkTalk WiFi is awful. Couldn't do any teacher work yesterday and only just about got a job application off on time. Will really have to switch broadband and landline provider, the service is shocking. Paying way too much money for very little in return.

@TalkTalk I found that out myself after your 'tech support' person told me several times that it could not be done! The solution was to access the router, turn off 5ghz, connect the 2.4ghz smart plug, then turn it on again. I renamed the 2.4 too and now both are visible.
