@TheStevieG123 @virginmedia I had a similar issue with EE (plus the phone wasn't a good enough upgrade for the money!) I sent it back within 14 days and got a sim only. 5g prob won't be worthwhile over here for some time yet

@Paulos_the_fog @virginmedia Because of home working I upgraded to 350mbps package and was getting that until a few months ago measured using a variety of apps - now it’s down to 80 consistently.

@virginmedia Unbelievably shockingly bad customer support today. 1hr 25 mins on the phone, spoke to 7 agents and no resolution 2 of your agents were excellent the rest were appaling. As a long standing customer I feel I have no option but to change provider. #virginfail

@virginmedia I’m trying to help my mother-in-law who’s a registered cater, with her broadband. Her wi-fi signal is very patchy and it’s causing her problems (plus unnecessary extra stress). She has a Hub 3; can she get a Hub 4 without upgrading to Gig 1?

@virginmedia It’s not specific to me; and to be honest I’m not really bothered. The problem is your marketing 5G phones in areas that don’t have 5G which is affectively mis-selling. Probably something you should look into.

@virginmedia I’ve been through the checks. The first one is about where you place the router... I don’t have a choice where to place it with less than 1m of cable. I’ve got the connect app and ‘optomised wifi’ to ‘great’ signal. 12-15mbps in living room and bedroom.

@virginmedia Yes. You took on to many customers and your network cannot cope. Engineers need to come out to add capacity. Greedy, essentially what you have done is fail your existing client base. We recieve no updates.. we are told just to suck it up but your technical teams.

@virginmedia Mine sucks too. Ringing up at my first opportunity to cancel, unless you do a great deal that doesn’t include ripping people off, making them have a phone line no one uses.
