    @virginmedia new broadband install today, was working fine now nothing. Your website won’t allow me to set up my account to check local service. Im an ex virgin engineer so know what to do and check. No Down or upstream signals. Same for neighbours. Get this sorted immediately

    @virginmedia we done that, all connections are in to the box, your company network thinks that we are connected via router this not so, but has a cable run into the house.

    @virginmedia An engineer will be sent on Saturday. Second one in a week. Trying to use the chat function to load get a complaint and it disconnects. The agents do not seem keen on taking a complaint. I have been happish with tservice for few years now but it has deteriorated in last 6 weeks

    @ThreeUK absolutely fed up of the abysmal service I get with my broadband. It simply doesn’t work. Was promised a speed in the store, ive never even got half. Constantly dropping out. Time to change back to @virginmedia

    @virginmedia Not sure what this will do. There has been regular outages in the area for over a week. Your call centre told me today that this should now be fixed and will not reoccur. We will see if this is the case when the service eventually returns.

    @virginmedia so my services, since being installed have not worked more than they have worked. As first impressions go this is very bad. If this isn’t fixed by this afternoon I will cancel my services as im still within 14 days cooling period.

    Complete farce of an evening. Tried to switch broadband @VodafoneUK -> @virginmedia. Nobody at Virgin told me I needed a special socket, not just a phone line. Hour on the phone to customer service as they tried to tell me it'd work on a phone line before admitting it didn't...

    @virginmedia I have managed to cancel, although I don't know why it takes so long. I was waiting in a queue for 45 minutes just to speak to someone then it took another 15 minutes to actually cancel. At least I won't have to go through that rigmarole again

    @virginmedia No, I haven’t texted yet, but doing the live chat/Whatsapp today I typed in “Retentions” and it just put me through so someone in India, who (after 2 hours) couldn’t help, so said they’d put me through to “customer services” who I’m still waiting to be connected to!

    @virginmedia Blimey, that’s crazy! So just to clarify, the only way I could get a stream to use as an additional box would be to completely cancel my main TV subscription and get two streams instead? In all honesty, the V6 box is so awful I wouldn’t mind losing channels to do that!

    @VodafoneUK @virginmedia So @VodafoneUK have sent me a noreply email AND a noreply text telling me to call them if I change my mind about leaving them... but they never answer the phone. I may be the only person trying to chase the customer retention team to ask them to retain me.

    @shhduff @virginmedia Had to deal with that a few days ago too! Service has been atrocious and Voda offered me a great deal on Gigabit Fibre. Ta-raa Virgin! Didn’t stop the retention team calling me 3 times yesterday tho! 😡
