    Anyone else have trouble with @ring service? 3 have so far failed through crap batteries. Rip-off @VodafoneUK charged me £45 to talk to a #Ring operator as they don't take complaints by email or chat, just telephone. The latest replacement has not arrived but how to complain?

    Bit unhappy with @VodafoneUK First I get new phone they cancel contact charge me full amount for phone then blacklist my credit history.Eventually sorted. Now Kilburn branch appears to have lost my phone when in for repair.Even suggested they had given it back #notgoodenough

    @VodafoneUK Tobi is in no way helpful, and does not handle calls only text chat. It's ridiculous most call options refer to Tobi and hang up. I had to choose the option to cancel my contract just to speak to a real person about a screw up on Vodafone's end.

    @VodafoneUK the Mobi chat service is terrible. Why does almost every option on your phone line end in suggesting Mobi and then hanging up?! The only way to speak to someone is to say I'm cancelling my contact!

    @VodafoneUK Hi. Understand things can go wrong, but who commissioned support chat function where I arbitrarily have to type every 3/4 minutes to stop it getting disconnected? Very frustrating when tech support can’t solve something

    @VodafoneUK I have been on the phone 📱 for 4 hours now - almost with 10 agents to cancel my contract. iPad was sent to repair, replacement was promised. It has been 3 months! You are still charging me! You are in clear breach of your contract- checked today!

    1/ Fed up with poor service from @VodafoneUK broadband so decided to switch to @Onestream_UK as they’re cheaper & I read good things. Switch date is tomorrow & I realised earlier my router hadn’t arrived. Tried to phone, to be told by their phone system they don’t answer calls

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had to threaten court action years ago when their local mast came down and they didn't repair it. Absolutely no signal. They were not fulfilling their contract. Luckily I was able to be very feisty, so sorry for your poor dad.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Standard - recently cancelled a direct debit for infirm mother in law’s account, as we were unable to find out how to cancel. Letter from debt collection agency within two weeks. Never previously missed a payment since taking out the contract in 1999!

I’ve had similar problems, though handled with greater sensitivity, because the fact of my partner’s death did not fit the algorithm which issued bills and protected revenue. Some companies have dedicated bereavement services, but the algorithms rule.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is awful! We had the same with @virginmedia after my dad passed away. They kept trying to take monthly DD when we had his accounts frozen, because he was not around to pay them. Started getting late payment charges. Reason for late payment on THEIR letter - deceased!!!

    @GeorgeMonbiot Sorry you had to go through this, just awful. I had to cancel my DD to leave my contract too and they refused to help even though they owed me money. They put a black mark on my credit file. Would never use again @VodafoneUK

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Also had a terrible experience with Vodafone, didn’t put a cap on my dongle & charged me hundreds for going over my data limit by a tiny amount. No text or warning whatsoever & their app showing my data usage was broken. Felt like a deliberate strategy to trip people up
