@bt_uk As I have tried to explain, an update on a possible new start date 10 days after the promised start date really isn't the level of service I expect from BT.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Crook, England

@bt_uk False alarm, it was a nice neighbour dropping off a Christmas card - I saw an Openreach van down the road and assumed that you had actually done something!!

  • timlibrarian Tim Fowler (@timlibrarian) reported from Bearpark, England

@bt_uk Hi, no, it’s not a new build. Engineer visited before Christmas and was able to activate broadband but not phone service due to a fault in the junction box. Order number is VOL013-439847322595

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk Extremely dissatisfied. I've just moved, trying to get landline and broadband at my new house - promised for Monday 2nd, got landline on Friday 6th but still no broadband. Lots of excuses, might possibly be sorted on Thursday 12th. Very poor service.

  • TVBCJonpaul Jonpaul Heron (@TVBCJonpaul) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • wsmruss Wsmman (@wsmruss) reported

@Goonerlover69 @BritishGas @bt_uk Lucky you don't have Virgin, the worst customer service I've ever come across.

  • JoanneStarbuck1 Joanne Starbuck (@JoanneStarbuck1) reported

@bt_uk my mobile has had no service since yesterday at postcode CF44 9UP. Can you let me know how much longer this is likely to continue?

  • nickylahughes Nicky (@nickylahughes) reported

@bt_uk No, but it requires a new connection. 2 visits by engineers. One by a surveyor (we think) no communication. Several broken appointments made. It’s just not good enough.

  • dmcropley Dave™ (@dmcropley) reported

Hey @bt_uk what's the best number to call to discuss leaving my current ISP and hooking up your Fibre to the premises service?

  • krystalbellax Krystal-Bella Shaw (@krystalbellax) reported

Im appalled with the service (or lack of) I got from @bt_uk today. Several agents can't answer my questions. My Internet is unusable but because everything appears fine their end they don't care. Engineers have proved faults but they still don't care. Release me already

  • DavidOw37568374 David .Owen_21 (@DavidOw37568374) reported

@bt_uk I just want a time scale when it will be fixed. As they can’t fix the fibre I’d like to go back on to copper connection but I’m not allowed to. Great I work from home my kids are at home and nothing works!!!

  • JasonAshton84 Jason Ashton (@JasonAshton84) reported

@bt_uk Expecting. On top of this, I’ve now also been billed for the late return of my old router (which I know will be refunded once you receive it back) but that’s quite insulting given it has taken you almost 3 months to complete an order. Overall the level of service has been 4/

  • revdmesmith Michael Smith (@revdmesmith) reported

@btbusinesscare When I got through, first issue solved easily. However, trying to then get through to report a fault the same as before. I'm afraid at the moment I can't afford over 30mins on the phone! It'll need another time & more patience!

  • PaulClews2 Paul Clews (@PaulClews2) reported

@bt_uk Okay, well it’s not working as I have a number of repeat offenders. I have had 3 so far today! @Ofcom

  • Jonpryan57 jon ryan #FBPE (@Jonpryan57) reported

@bt_uk Please do not dispatch another engineer. As noted, we have had 11 visits in two years. It would be futile to repeat investigations that demonstrably do not lead to a solution . The fault is clearly with BT; not the line, nor the installation.
