Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Andy (Honk Honk) Robertson (@AndyRob04327914) reported@ee why are so utterly terrible. BT want even this bad. You've added a layer of extra awful to what was already a very expensive service.
-
Craigo32 (@Craigo32) reported@returningfromt2 @EE Im having exactly the same problem
-
Jules (@julesw1lko) reported@EE Yep - just spent an hour on the phone. No resolution other than to transition to digital voice which will take till the 8th!!! Whatโs worse - is your phone people were utterly unrepentant there was an error from EEโs side. I now need to teach a 90 year old to use a mobile for the first time!!
-
Rebecca J Lockley โก๏ธ Shenanigans (@annaonthemoon) reported@EE I tried to redeem my oneup reqard code for the @marksandspencer voucher but the website to claim has timed out several times. I was really looking forward to the extra treat since today is my birthday :(
-
Warren Peters (@wizza_wozza) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Itโs a joke, especially for vulnerable people living in a rural area with little mobile signal. @bt_uk recent performance has been pathetic with an elderly friend who has no wi-fi, getting on for 2 weeks with still no fix in sight.
-
Linda Knott ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ (@L1ND4K) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE I resisted swapping out my copper for fibre for a long time exactly because of this. I live at the end of the line as far as services are concerned and have learned the hard way over the years. Can't rely on WiFi as there are often breaks in the electricity and poor or no signal.
-
Peter (@Peter_POSH) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE I live in the countryside and my phone signal is crap. But you can still ring 999 without a signal as it searches all networks possible to make a connection.
-
PIX (@PIXX3L5) reportedI'm convinced that zero humans work for @EE what a **** storm of conflicting information. Repeating yourself over and over with different outcomes to only be put to someone else and repeat again and then told different information and other person wrong. FU EE FU
-
Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.
-
Ed Peters (@mr_ed_peters) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.
