Currently the line of sight in its current location hits the very centre / bulk of the tree. The location I suggested I think at worst would clip some lower branches. I think if mounted low enough it would not hit the tree at all.

Well, other than being disappointed they ran the feed in a much lower resolution than their main broadcast.
