Sky Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
String of Ears (@string_of_ears) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK You can invoke the cooldown clause. With every contract like this, there's a fixed amount of time during which you can cancel without any penalties.
-
Max (@M26XXJ) reportedSomeone please tell Gary Neville @GNev2 to shut ******** up, 15 minutes in and he’s just speaking bullshit, as a neutral you can tell how **** he is as a pundit, close to switching channels @SkySports @SkySportsPL #ARSNEW
-
Glyn-Oh behave! 🏴🇬🇧 'Wabbit'🦖🌹 (@GlynisSpencer) reported@jammierooroo @JamesMillerHi @SkyUK Sit with her while she calls them back. Put it on speakerphone, so you can hear. The contract was made over the phone. That is distance selling. She has a 14 day cooling off period to cancel it.
-
Richard (@visitandtravel) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK To clarify my rather abrupt statement - I have Now TV which is broadband version of Sky - you pay for the channels you wish to watch, and as I do not pay the BBC scam tax I can't and don't watch live TV. I signed up to the entertainment package - around £5 a month (on 6 month offer) - I never, or at least very rarely watch it and will not be renewing it. As for their movie channel - why bother? Paramount and Apple TV, via Amazon Prime provide better content and this is a shame as I used to like and enjoy Sky entertainment series (US based) and then suddenly they went 100% woke and just lost the plot in content and quality - same great actors, awful scripts and screenplay. In my opinion of course.
-
Joe (@joe43932) reported@SkySports F1's new era is terrible. Horrible street tracks. Sportswashing in the Gulf. Pointless Sprints. Dreadful engine regs.
-
walshcat 🦁 (@walshcat1) reportedJust had the misfortune to accidentally land on Saturday Social on @SkySports. Talking about exactly the same **** it talks about every week. How do they get away with it?
-
D (@Therealdonnab42) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK My mum gave me permission to speak to them & it took around 2 weeks to resolve. They admitted it was insensitive, poor judgement & customer service given circumstances. Contract was cancelled with no penalty & mum rec’d compensation as a goodwill gesture.
-
Susan 🌸💜 (@Su15100307) reported@kinlochleven7 @jammierooroo @SkyUK Exactly - they claim to have a dedicated phone line to deal with relatives of deceased customers but it’s never answered
-
Allan Colcombe (@theoldbloke) reported@jammierooroo @SkyUK There’s a cooling-off clause on all phone contracts (ex-Sky customer here) so she should get it corrected.
-
