No explanation from Sky for why it took so long. Looking at latest bill, loss of service compensation covers only two weeks.

New contract was agreed and post agreement sky increased the prices. I have tried to call sky customer services serval times and keep been on hold and eventually getting disconnected. I have just done a couple of speed checks and the mbps keep fluctuating anywhere between 27.5-48mbps, this is under your guaranteed speed of 50mbps.
