    Remote support for a friend’s computer that was having strange issues. Teamviewer failed to connect so I figured this was related. An hour’s debugging later and it turns out the ISP (TalkTalk) is blocking Teamviewer as it’s used by scammers.

    @CateSevilla @virginmedia They then tried to fine me for not sending their 'hub' back and refused to refund the house move cost I'd paid a few months earlier. So so incompetent! SO stressful when all of us work from home too. I moved to TalkTalk & is cheaper and no problems so far, at least :)

    @elacha123 @DPJHodges Look at the #didoharding #talktalk scandal .... The official call centre was handing customer details to the scammers next door! I'm wondering when the #NHS typing will be taken back in house? Normally takes some severe malpractice payout to force them to do an about-face

    @UB5simon I'm on TalkTalk. They're not perfect but my research tells me none of them are. I hardly ever get connectivity problems & they're cheap. I now find the best approach to customer services is to avoid them unless 100% necessary, which means only when I have a hardware problem.

    @TalkTalk engineer came to connect my service - (new customer) dreadful and made no effort. Said he could not connect and left without a word. Before he left he complained his 9 weeks furlough was not enough! No wonder he never connected me. No heart in it. Dreadful

    @DavidBeckitt @virginmedia In my experience (so might be wrong), all the others use the same BT/Openreach infrastructure - so much of a muchness. I’ve got TalkTalk, it’s cheap & the new router is good. The customer service is poor tho’!

    @TalkTalk absolutely appaling! Advertised 35-40 Mbs. Ive had 19 or less for months. Bought wifi booster & had to use my own mobile data in my house as a result of a faulty router. Customer Service is terrible & no Manager available. 3X I requested a call back and nobody bothered

    The issue is having a family of 4, if 1 is streaming another cant go on Facebook or whatever because it will stop the streaming. If we come in from work and both access social media it doesn't work. #talktalk is a one device provider, oK is your single and never have visitors

    @TalkTalk any chance someone can fix my internet been off for nearly a week every time I get a text saying it’s fixed then ring up to be told wait 48 hours. Again and again and sometimes it takes 2 days to adjust absolute nightmare

    TalkTalk was such a bad broadband provider that I returned to BT even though it cost more. Dido Harding ran TalkTalk, now she is overseeing a useless privatised Test and Trace service. Dump it, resource local authorities & NHS to do it, they can do it well.
