It’s like shooting fish in a barrel and I’m sure others have pointed it out but: Dido Harding is best known for presiding over huge data breach at TalkTalk - and now facing huge data issues at Test and Trace. IT does not seem to be a strong point.

@TalkTalk I’ve been on the phone for over 40 mins. Called one number first (the one on the website) to freeze our account while we move home. Been told to call another number to do so, been waiting on the line for over 20 mins. Shouldn’t be this difficult for a customer (1)

@moving_charlie @TalkTalk Had similar issues with Virgin Media - they refused to process my cancellation instruction (I was out of contract) because I told them I was moving house (they insisted on having my new address, which I refused). Ended up just cancelling my DD and posting the router to their HQ.

@TalkTalk literally no way to report a fault with broadband. All support systems go to a chat bot or answerphone message that just instructs you to restart the router. Any attempt to connect to a live support staff fails. Will be contacting trading standards.

@moving_charlie @TalkTalk Talktalk tried to ******* on a new broadband deal for the support to be via app only. Imagine buying a package because its discounted to then be told sorry if you need help you cant pick up the phone. Its ******* disgusting how hard they cut corners.
