Declan Higgins ☘ (@declan1968) reported from Southwark, England@virginmedia What does an area outage mean? I pay Virgin about £150 a month for services. This is over the odds but I thought I was getting a reliable service and so went with it.
-

Virgin Media Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Tigol (@bigoltiddies) reported@JU51LNS @TalkTalk It was never YOUR email, it belonged to TalkTalk and they simply rented it to you as a perk of being subscribed to their service. You've cancelled or are cancelling so they're no longer giving you a free email and instead asking you to pay. BT does/did the same. As did/does Sky. Virginmedia just straight delete the email address after 90 days. You're making a deal out of nothing. Pay the fiver a month and use the time to port out valuable emails by forwarding them to your other email then when you're confident you've got it all transferred, cancel the payment.
-
entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported@robert_mackley @virginmedia Thanks for that. Need to do some serious thinking about whether to stay with @virginmedia at end of this contract as this experience has been very, very poor indeed. Communications have been awful (apart from one person that at least appeared to empathise). Been with them years
-
FuzzieRatBag (@FuzziePieRat) reported@virginmedia I understand that, it's the fact that I said I was willing to downgrade to get a cheaper offer, instead they offer higher prices & higher speeds. Funny part is, my renew is cheaper than the offers. I've got till July so I'll either cancel & be a new customer, or accept the renew.
-
Monique Bissell (@Neek49) reported@entrustTMF @status_is_down @virginmedia Ours has been over a week, and they have just extended their estimated fix time to the 27th. That’s another 5 days, during a tube strike and I can’t work from home.
-
Martinayres65@outloo (@Martinayres65o1) reported@virginmedia when are you going to fix our broadband. We have been without broadband for 6 days now. My partner offers online psychotherapy support for people with blood cancers and has had to cancel appointments because of this.
-
Coffinsandme 击🦇🐀 (@mandychoccy) reported@virginmedia Yet again having issues with pixelation and signal. This has now been going on for 2 years. 4 box changes, all new wiring in and out, 2x new hubs, new cables to main cab, main cab supposedly cleaned up, other local ex users disconnected from cab. I am so frustrated.
-
CymroGlyn 🏳️🌈🏴🏉🍾♿️ (@cymroglyn) reported@virginmedia You should be keeping an eye out for this sort of criminal activity, creates profiles for most large UK companies so they can reply to any complaints and get the customer to download software so they can compensation…and rob them. Report them to X
-
AM (@itsmeitsmeandy) reported@bt_uk and by any chance if you @giffgaff can actually get of your backsides and at the very least give me a engineer appointment date been waiting a month now nothing maybe i should cut out the middle man and contact your friends @virginmedia directly
-
Susan Chew (@SusanChew5) reported@MrAlanGreen @virginmedia Same here, quoted £400 if we leave, but we aren't even getting a service from them, so £400 for nothing
-
just me (@PHILROOKS) reported@virginmedia @keithapearson I wouldn't bother returning but support the online informing if others about their #customerservice they as a company and the bosses should be ashamed
