@virginmedia That's my issue; in terms of service, it is resolved. Thr cable was previously buried (all be it not that deep), & I would have liked it to be again. My suggestion was leave slack so I could bury it. That message wasn't passed on to the 3rd party engineer. What would you advise?

@martynenglish2 @virginmedia They have a catastrophic reputation around here ... speeds great in theory but always down, slow and out of order as I see from local shops.

@virginmedia you owe me £241.47 in compensation for 45 days without internet service since the start on my contract (22nd July) and the 3 missed engineer appointments. I will be chasing this through @Ofcom. When Will you start providing the service you’re contracted to?

@virginmedia Many complaints have been raised and we have tried to leave the contract due to the complete lack of anything beneficial to actually fix our broadband. Of course I’m not having a a go at you but your customer service team is very bad. They don’t care about actually helping 👍🏾

@virginmedia Hi, I've been on the website & phone help for 2 hrs trying to get contact number changed on our acct (it's incorrect & won't save any edit via any device) but can't get a route to the correct help. We have an engineer coming who needs correct number, what can I do?

Dear @virginmedia HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO WORK WITH NO ******* INTERNET? Saw your engineers on the road this week. Why have you not fixed the problem? Whatever licence you have needs to be revoked immediately.

So @virginmedia who do I invoice for the lost revenue for my husband and I as you can’t send an engineer out for 6 DAYS to fix our broadband/TV fault??! Please tell me who I’m to send the invoice to, and also how to get compensation for 6 days of lost service 😡

@virginmedia Phoned, and as expected; they can't just "put this right". The equipment and service are working fine. That the dish is broken and there is little slack to enable me to bury the cable deeper is due to local engineers. Will just have to dig trench, break cable and wait again!

@virginmedia Hi @virginmedia guess what? I still have no wifi. Our 8th engineer visit scheduled for today (this time rescheduled because they needed a permit for the work). Just had a text saying engineer will be here next Tuesday now. Livid does not cut it. What kind of service is this?!

The @virginmedia super hub has got to be one of the worst designed things I’ve ever seen, when your wifi goes down (when not if), the wifi symbol appears green on your router, since when has green ever meant that something isn’t working?!

Thomas Andrew

@virginmedia I do have a Hub 3 and that app is not helpful it's entirely focussed on new connections or WiFi blackspots. I get fast pings to my router but poor throughout. So pinging 192.168.0.1 versus 8.8.8.8 for example . And it's not location specific. The router is just struggling

@virginmedia Finally got through to cancel on Saturday morning. Since then a phone call on Monday & Tuesday to try to get me to stay. Maybe deal with the problem straight away rather than treating me poorly as a customer & I might still be with you. Your loss!!
