    The service from @virginmedia is utterly dreadful. Had Wi-Fi issues so they sent someone out to rectify. Worked for 2 days then the same issues started again. Not had working Wi-Fi for the last 3 weeks. If your thinking of going with them for tv / internet, go with someone else.

    @virginmedia He has tried this and every time it just reverts to an automated bot response that doesn’t accept/understand /respond to his request to cancel. I need another way. As it’s proving impossible and stressful

    Wow @virginmedia is having a complete meltdown in my area and their automated service is telling me that this "short" interruption to my internet services should be resolved at 10 am tomorrow. That's 14 hours from now! What if my work depended on it?

    @virginmedia Thank you for the update. I am not questioning the fix time as I appreciate these issues are complex. My point is the sending of an SMS message stating the issue is fixed, but then receiving a further message stating it is still being worked on.

    @virginmedia @JamieGBarry @virginmedia we shouldn't have to move through three call centre departments, 20 requests to cancel the contract only to be hard sold a more expensive contract, eventually the cancellation request is accepted, then the retentions dept can actually offer a fair deal.

    @PeteUK7 @virginmedia After my dad died we contacted sky to cancel his TV package. They suggested he could ‘gift’ it to a family member instead of cancelling. But as there was no mention of this in his final will and testament we declined .

    @virginmedia @rafthemaster Your best renewal price for existing customers fluctuates almost daily - ours between £78 and £98. Just within the space of days. And give notice to cancel, follow it through and you get an even better offer. The way you treat existing customers is scandalous .
