@virginmedia But your hub has died and as such I cannot access my broadband, use my landline as you moved it from copper to Ethernet and the TV services are impacted as I cannot record, watch the BBC or any streaming service. In short an outage.

  • BobCratchitt

@virginmedia Well I guess as it went down Wednesday afternoon and if all goes well back up tomorrow we will automatically qualify.

  • joybrenda

@virginmedia help why have you made it so difficult to log a landline vault on line. Need to call, as line out of order since friday. I am certain it's systems fault as display message I have seen on previous occasions.

  • donnorcean
Connor Dean (@donnorcean) reported from London, England

@virginmedia have had intermittent issues for over a month now, every time I go down the route of reporting the issue it just says wait 24 hours. How can I speak to someone about this as the phone number never gets me to a person?

  • BBLn15
Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia I presume so. I was quite clear I wanted to leave Virgin as I was not happy with the services provided even though they tried to keep me as a customer. I feel Virgin are making it as difficult as possible and I am paying for it

  • mistervickster
Vignesh (@mistervickster) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia how do you have the worst customer service ? Will just have to book a technician to sort out issues with account login.

  • markatpt
Mark Armstrong (@markatpt) reported from London, England

@virginmedia you have now postponed an installation scheduled for 4th November to Christmas Eve! Can’t see that happening. Maybe someone actually based in the UK might bother to contact me about this? Minded to cancel otherwise. Not acceptable service.

  • AnnieCaird
Annie Caird 🌻 (@AnnieCaird) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia How long have you got? I have just sat down in a restaurant to cry on a friend’s shoulder. The nice server said, “how are you?” I just burst into tears! Seriously. My disappointment is palpable. I want to go back to @BT

  • BBLn15
Helen Reihill (@BBLn15) reported from Hackney, England

@virginmedia How long is due course? I’ve already spent hours on this issue with no resolution. I started this chat conversation on Wednesday 1st February. Wouldn’t you agree the customer service from Virgin is woeful?

  • gowlos60
    Dee Ess 🇬🇧 (@gowlos60) reported

@JeanDifford It's made very clear that you do if you want to: 'Watch or record live TV on any pay TV service, like Sky, Virgin Media or EE TV. Watch live TV on streaming services like YouTube, Channel 4, Amazon Prime Video or any international channels'. I don't want a criminal record.

  • iadnan9
    Addy (@iadnan9) reported

@virginmedia @HawtinStewart Reported an issue 2 months ago and only just received a response. The advice given was unhelpful, careless, and frankly unprofessional. The issue is still ongoing with Now being told it could take another 28 days for a follow-up. Completely unacceptable and a waste of time.

  • kingoftheshed
    Paul Parkin (@kingoftheshed) reported

@virginmedia after a week of absolutely shambolic service I’ve finally had enough. You sent me an email to say all was fixed but once again the wi-fi is down and the tv is disrupted. Another weekend of nonsense ahead. Tell me how I leave?

  • Dazzle72Nolan
    dustbin hoffman (@Dazzle72Nolan) reported

@virginmedia why is my box suddenly experiencing problems nothing changed at my end and yes I have tried resetting etc

  • simmo1024
    Stanley Percival Simmonds (@simmo1024) reported

@Prosperity_Inst This is a question for parents, and parents should have the ability to enforce their decision. See Virgin Media, they have the ability to block social media. Government needs to force all ISPs, especially phone service providers, do provide the same, and turn it on by default. The bill-payer (e.g. the parents) then get to choose which sites to permit. What is not required is digital ID for everyone.

  • leeb9972
    Lee Black (@leeb9972) reported

@virginmedia Dundee DD4 area, limited broadband, any issues you are aware of, i might need an engineer :(

  • Seanster1984
    Sean Milroy (@Seanster1984) reported

@virginmedia why are you telling people to get a booster after upgrading to 360 when a box is connected to its router through Ethernet cable? Ethernet connection is better. Wi-Fi is a luxury. People are paying over odds for service but you want them to pay more? Get a grip!!

  • Merse2506
    John Mercer (@Merse2506) reported

@itswesty @virginmedia Virgin are shocking at responding. Mine has been doing it for weeks. DM them tney send a link that doesnt work

@sme30 @virginmedia @NetflixUK Bloody hell. Would have been easier to cancel Netflix! 🤦 Maybe try and upgrade on ur box and see if Netflix now comes as standard with upgrades.... Then cancel the stand alone one? 😬🤷

  • Matt247821
    Matty Smithy♿️🇬🇧🇪🇺 (@Matt247821) reported

@Jenny_1884 It’s pants, not as good as fibre and expensive as you have to purchase the equipment. The latency sucks. Alright for basic browsing but not gaming or high quality streaming. Virgin media is cheaper and faster
