@virginmedia Thanks - I’ve run through it but it seems like an actual signal issue rather than a local config issue. I’ve also checked the coax cable on my end and it’s in securely (tried re-seating it as well).

@virginmedia Hi thanks for the response We reported issue 1st on Monday last week it was intermittent all week 2 or 3 days we had nothing despite engineer visit It corrected itself Friday late pm. We had been told we had an issue but The engineer advised we were affected by a local outage

@virginmedia in the 10 years I have been with virgin media, this is the first time my internet has gone down. Sometimes things do go wrong but it’s how you deal with it that matters. Well done to your engineers for restoring the service quickly!!

@virginmedia They have a record, I called this morning as its lasted the weekend without issue. Compensation was refused. Hence the tweet. It was on an off whole week. Even tried changing a resistor which did not work

@virginmedia Hi - how is Virgin Media justifying a 25% increase in prices? The "we understand these are tough times" line at the bottom is disgusting considering the decision to raise prices by double the rate of inflation. And removing out of home wifi so reducing service too
