Very rarely do I actively warn people away from things, and maybe it is my bad experience, but beware @virginmedia internet. Difficult, takes far too long to install, others are just easier. Others have horror stories too. Fast internet yes, but the other aspects are not worth it

In a world that runs on the net if you are a @virginmedia customer you have to wait 4 days for an engineer to fix a modem, installed only in November 2018. IT’S NOT A JOKE!!! Thank you for letting me loose a day of work and 3 days worth of studying. #virginbroadband

@lunasorcery I love how that same device is called “Hub 2.0” with Virgin Media Ireland. It was called “Hub 3.0” when they first started rolling it out, but then they dropped support for 1.0 and decremented all the version numbers.

@marksuttonbike @virginmedia I feel for you mate. We used to have nothing but headaches with Virgin; and their customer service was trash back then. Outsourced, and powerless. We moved to Sky, and while it's a bit more expensive, anytime we've had an issue, it's been a quick resolution.
