  • tobygilles 🎤Toby Gilles🎤 (@tobygilles) reported from Camden Town, England

@kevinhatchard @VodafoneUK Honestly mate but the phone outright. There’s very few cases of a network doing a better offer. Some companies, including Apple if you’re getting an iPhone, even offer the chance to pay monthly & interest free. I’m gonna get the iPhone mini. My monthly payment will be...

  • maryyasmine Mary working from home (@maryyasmine) reported from Kensington, England

@cribby15 @Kaimurphy1 @VodafoneUK So Vodafone is crap and Three are crap in London too. Is EE and their incredibly expensive contracts the only provider with an acceptable internet coverage?

@VodafoneUK my new iphone 12 max pro was snatched in street in Vauxhall. Unfortunately not insured. Been a customer for over a decade, now have no phone, just a contract to pay for another 23 months. Already have an additional data line. Seems very unfair. @metpoliceuk @Ofcom

  • NikiPilkington Niki Pilkington (@NikiPilkington) reported from Islington, England

Almost 2 hours on the phone to @VodafoneUK - passed to 3 different departments(explaining my situation each time🙄)only to finally be told to go to a store to sort it out once they reopen on the 2nd 🥵Also sent 4 DM’s on here with zero response.Pretty rubbish customer service 👎

  • Matbeluca Matt Scammels (@Matbeluca) reported from Banstead, England

Trying to cancel my Pay Monthly Sim with @VodafoneUK after being told to do it online by their complaints team. There is NO option to cancel on the app, you have to call 191, but could have upgraded at the touch of a button. Now been 90 mins on hold. Next step @Ofcom.

  • The_CaptAwesome Who's Simon? 👨🏻‍🎤 (@The_CaptAwesome) reported from Hammersmith, England

@VodafoneUK Nice work in getting people to DM you and then ignoring them. You’re customer service is truly awful @Ofcom should investigate your practices and false promises.

Vodafone Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Michael_Seaword Michael Seaword (@Michael_Seaword) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m afraid communications companies have no idea what customer service means. Sure they’ll send you a pointless questionnaire after so they can state 94% of our customers answered positively… We have found @zeninternet to be an exception and actually talk to you like a human.

  • JkMoysmith JK Moysmith (@JkMoysmith) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Had a similar issue here, mother dementia, was sorted after one call.

  • emmaroo74 Emma Smith (@emmaroo74) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I have also been through a similar scenario with Vodafone which resulted in my credit rating being affected . They are THE worst company.

  • RandomlySeenMan randomlyseenman (@RandomlySeenMan) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK When my dad died he had a contract with orange. I rang them up to cancel it explaining the situation. They said we had to pay the balance. I refused. I went to one of their shops, showed them the death certificate and they cancelled it just like that.

  • chickenprincess CP (@chickenprincess) reported

@DuncanMhor @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This happened to me. Cancelled 3 times, paid twice more as thought it was a mistake, then they "couldn't find my account" so we assumed closed. Two years later I went for a mortgage & found I had bad credit history. Took a month to sort out & nearly lost the house we were buying

  • blip99 JMF (@blip99) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I had a similar experience. When the debt collection agency rang I told the extremely rude lady demanding money off me to come and get it, but she better bring friends. Plenty of them. They never rang again.

  • BellYard_Mel Melanie Riley (@BellYard_Mel) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Was early cancellation charge they didn’t invoice for. Now have bad debt for 6 years on my credit. Despite having never defaulted on any payment ever in 20years of property ownership… Couldn’t get anyone to do anything about it @VodafoneUK since have been 4 interest rate rises

  • Bells1590 Chris Bellaby (@Bells1590) reported

@VodafoneUK I'm at the end of my contract period yet to cancel I am required to call up (no website/app function to close my account). I've tried many times and been on hold for several hours. I see from Twitter many people have this issue. This is unacceptable customer service

  • LloydBrock9 Brockstar (@LloydBrock9) reported

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I had a mobile contract with you once. You are by far THE worst company for customer service. You shouldn’t even be in business. I’d recommend anyone of your victims switch to @tescomobile like I did. Vodafone, joke of a company.

  • marinajock marina (@marinajock) reported

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I hadn't spent money on a pay as you go number in a while. They said I had 3 months before they'd cancel my account (I had the number for over 20 years). I intended to use a chargeable service. However, within the month I discovered they'd cancelled the number. Never use again.
