@Marcuspdm Hoomum woke up and is now awake trying to sort out her stoopid @BTGroup @bt_uk broadband 😡🤬For a business that is “breaking down the barriers of today to release the potential of tomorrow” they do seem monumentally hopeless.

  • MrChris62
Chris (@MrChris62) reported from Guildford, England

@bt_uk Hi. Had a problem with the internet a while back. You thought it was the hub so you sent us a new one but turned out to be an incorrectly wired junction box. So now got a brand new hub lying around. Aren’t you going to send a bag so I can send it back?

  • _gary_white_
Gary White (@_gary_white_) reported from Merton, England

Hi @bt_uk, I had an engineer booked next week to install full fibre, and was told today by email that this would be put back by TWO MONTHS. That’s an awful way to treat customers.

  • 28Zizou
Sab (@28Zizou) reported from Merton, England

@virginmedia Doesn't help answer my question. The virgin media app restricts a user to just the channels. Whereas on the @btsport app the user can stream all games and switch between the matches.

@bt_uk I need your support ASAP. My 94yr old grandad can’t return home until you fix his BT landline (the issue was originally raised back on 16 August). Please help!!! 😣

  • martinbamford
Martin Bamford (@martinbamford) reported from Cranleigh, England

@LAMTownsend @bt_uk I think the problem is with @OpenreachHelp rather than BT? I’m hearing that BT are sending out engineers to households but unable to do anything to restore the Internet when they arrive because there is a wider network issue. Strange that they’re unaware though.

  • Kev_McLoughlin
Kevin McLoughlin (@Kev_McLoughlin) reported from West Molesey, England

I move house and seemingly return to dial-up. @virginmedia guy was a man looking for a problem and probably saw a solution getting in the way of an easy day. @bt_uk say 2 weeks to £50 activation even though cables already in and I’m self-installing and it’s only 3-7mb !!!! 😠

  • AmitChampaneri1
Amit Champaneri (@AmitChampaneri1) reported from Virginia Water, England

@btsport If Juve rejected the chance to sign him because of Kulusevski joining, it must go down as the biggest mistake since we let go of Henry!!! Or worse...

  • StuartTarn

Unbelievably shocking service from @bt_uk and @WeAreOpenreach. Broadband order placed on 3 Dec for a 14 December installation. Just spoke to a lovely person at BT who had to break the news that the "update" I was due to get today was "ring back on Feb 20 for an update"

  • stevemessenbird
Lord Mess (@stevemessenbird) reported from Normandy, England

I pay for @btsportfootball @btsport and @SkySportsNews so why should I have to pay £14.95 to watch a game? Time to cancel my subscription I think. #btsport #skysports

  • RAAdams96
RAdams (@RAAdams96) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@SpeedwayEuro Time to find a more reliable TV partner to showcase your events as @Eurosport seem to treat it with contempt as on more than one occasion they have cut in late and missed races. @SkySports or @btsport would be a better partner. #LetsMakeSpeedway

  • stevenffc123

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

@bt_uk you’ll be hard pushed to find a worse company than these guys in the UK. Appalling customer service, terrible turnaround times for installing, hopeless comms, mistakes everywhere and you always end up carrying the stress and cost. Go with anyone else.

@bt_uk . Online Radio Stations based in Wigan and St Helens and Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea have also gone out at random times so it's in multiple areas as well are BT even on the problem fixing why the whole countries internet is going out at random times at the moment?

  • euanwab
    Euan (@euanwab) reported

@asha_shar Any way to have wi-fi 5ghz as default or option? Xbox is one of the only devices that defaults to 2.4ghz with no way to get 5ghz unless you disable 2.4ghz on the broadband entirely. Some providers like @bt_uk don’t allow for that or splitting the network on their routers. Help!
