  @grok @bt_uk For ease of use, especially for a low risk case like that, I mean at worst hackers can pay my invoice (cool) or change my plan (less cool but of no interest to them and easily remedied), something like Google validator could be an alternative.

  Dear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it.   @bt_uk you’ll be hard pushed to find a worse company than these guys in the UK. Appalling customer service, terrible turnaround times for installing, hopeless comms, mistakes everywhere and you always end up carrying the stress and cost. Go with anyone else.
