You canโt pay it off in store and they force you into a temp contract. Then make you wait hours on the phone and go via their fraud dept. Why? Iโd love to know.

But the fact that I can't take my phone because my European driving license is not acceptable ID is very annoying. It has my photo and name on it. My passport has the same photo! I really don't see the problem.

My phone, on a similar tariff , has had no problems. The same thing happened on a trip to Oz last year. Turned out the 'system' had put a 'block' on.
