O2 Issues Reports Near Camden Town, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Camden Town and nearby locations:

  • HowarthCharles
Charles Howarth (@HowarthCharles) reported from Camden Town, England

@JamesTurner37 @O2 It’s disappointing because their customer service staff are uniformly warm and helpful in my experience. It is their systems that are at fault. I know their senior management, but would never try to abuse that by calling in a favour.

  • GillKirby
Gill Kirby (@GillKirby) reported from Islington, England

@O2 Still waiting for a call back. I guess even in a sunny day like today. Hell could freeze over. But I’m not holding my breath. I’d say poor customer service, but this is actually abysmal!

  • AlanGreene73
Alan Greene (@AlanGreene73) reported from London, England

@cleggytaxi @O2 Yep you’re right. Signal dropped again.

  • jonathonfp
Jonny Pugsley (@jonathonfp) reported from Camden Town, England

@O2 your 4G service in London is absolutely dire currently. And you’ve just put my price up for the privilege of it.

  • NorthernlyExpo
Andy Denial 📸 (@NorthernlyExpo) reported from Islington, England

@O2 Just trying your Priority code in McDonalds but it’s not working. Just says it’s been used already.

  • siegeism
siege (@siegeism) reported from London, England

@O2 Done. I’ve started taking screen shots of locations with no service because it’s so bad.

  • Jennifer03017
Jennifer Ferguson (@Jennifer03017) reported from London, England

@O2 when you press use now on the Priority Lane where is the code - I only have a screen with a timer counting down. I can’t see a code? Thank you xx

  • jonnyrotton1989
Jon. (@jonnyrotton1989) reported from Islington, England

Right that’s your lot now @O2 I’m sick to death of signal problems & the app never works to report a problem! 10 years I’ve been with you - you used to be the best, but not anymore. Time to give @EE a go 👍🏽 #O2 #O2isARipOff #O2SignalProblems

  • cheesescientist
Freddie Phillips (Amanda Benson) (@cheesescientist) reported from Camden Town, England

@leonrestaurants @JamesJoelDann @O2 So we miss out on this? (Having walked down to Leon but I have to go to work now)?

  • ChristianRad
Christian Radnedge (@ChristianRad) reported from London, England

Something especially egregious about living near The O2, but not having any @O2 signal once again, even though that doesn't make sense. Feels like it should be a massive router for all of South East London...

  • LebbyE
Lebby Eyres (@LebbyE) reported from Islington, England

Essentially @o2 treat everyone who wants to buy a phone under £200 outright like a potential fraudster. You can’t pay it off in store and they force you into a temp contract. Then make you wait hours on the phone and go via their fraud dept. Why? I’d love to know.

  • Ali_Malik
Ali Malik (@Ali_Malik) reported from London, England

And the harrowing experience continues with @o2! Porting out within 14 day cooling off period of “new” contract seems to be a tough ask for #O2. Unacceptable, impolite behaviour of customer services while the farce from technical side continues. #O2fail! CC: @MarkEvansO2 @Ofcom

  • endaguinan
Enda Guinan (@endaguinan) reported from Islington, England

@O2 I’m with GiffGaff. Usually no issues with Mesia messages in any direction, but when it happens, I’m curious about this type of message. It says here’s your message, but there’s no link or attachment.

  • sarahspoon
Sarah (@sarahspoon) reported from London, England

    @JamesIMcKay @O2 Oh….never heard of it. Ta

  • PaulMacca1976
Paul McCaffrey (@PaulMacca1976) reported from Islington, England

People be aware that fake texts from @O2 are being sent saying your bill payment can’t go through and to log in via a text link - the site looks just like o2 but it isn’t their site! Thank god I checked with customer service

  • appletonjack
Jack Appleton (@appletonjack) reported from Camden Town, England

@Miniv20 @O2 How do you find out what other network coverage is like? I pay about £150 a month as it’s used so much for work...well, it’s not right now thanks to this “broken mast” 😭

  • tombyford
Tom Byford (@tombyford) reported from Paddington, England

@_peetaypan @O2 If you want to keep your number you can get a PAC code by texting PAC to 65075 once you give that to your new network provider you shouldn’t have any more hassle

  • Claudiasabram
Claudia Simms Abram (@Claudiasabram) reported from Islington, England

@virginmedia is down So forced to use data but @O2 is so slow and bad it struggles to connect to anything and the o2 network app says phone masts aren't working Great service all round, not, what's the point of doubling my data if I can't connect to anything

    Mark (@MarkQ_LFC) reported

@jibbajabbba @kokeshimum @O2 I have the same problems with EE. They are shite

  • JohnTillUK
    John Till (@JohnTillUK) reported

@McWhirterAlex @kieran_jsmith I had to leave @o2 after 29 years as the service had just deteriorated so badly. Didn’t want to leave but it just got to the point where it was regularly unusable on my travels. I’m now using a MVNO which uses EE and it’s just so much better for half the price too.

  • matchstickstorm
    v (@matchstickstorm) reported

@O2 why is it so hard to upgrade my sim now? 1st of all, the “upgrade” options are ridiculously expensive and filled with **** i dont want/need, second- i went for a proper “upgrade” plan so i can keep my number, said i was switching to android but youve just changed my tariff?

  • PaulS87W
    Paul (@PaulS87W) reported

@O2 can you please sort out you log in process to get into my o2 to pay a bill on a laptop. It’s an absolute joke of a process. I log in and I’m prompted to log in again to pay my bill. What’s the worst that’s going to happen someone’s going to pay my bill for me?

  • Annah_Atherton
    Annah Atherton (@Annah_Atherton) reported

@O2 why is your signal so bad?! WN1 Seems to have been since an old building knocked down … I’m told there’s nothing wrong in area, yet since my complaint I keep getting updates that you are “working on the problem”

  • v11_eed
    Joan_of_Tyne_Bridge_Arc (@v11_eed) reported

@kokeshimum @O2 Same ****. Yet, o2 have increased their customer bills for the past 12 consecutive years. That’s a 4-10% increase every year since 2014.

  • PeterW4tw
    PeterW (@PeterW4tw) reported

@DominyRichard @kokeshimum @O2 This, very much this. OFGEM should cross-reference mast plan objectors and those complaining about poor cell service, them name and shame
