O2 Issues Reports Near City of London, England
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in City of London and nearby locations:
-
Lebby Eyres (@LebbyE) reported from Islington, EnglandEssentially @o2 treat everyone who wants to buy a phone under £200 outright like a potential fraudster. You can’t pay it off in store and they force you into a temp contract. Then make you wait hours on the phone and go via their fraud dept. Why? I’d love to know.
-
Sophie Donnelly (@sophiegdonnelly) reported from City of London, England@O2 please can you do me a favour and dm me so I can give you my friend at works number to call her back - she has some questions about her phone contract and nobody on your customer care line seems to know the answers - don’t make me listen to her ranting anymore pls 😢😢😢😢😢
-
siege (@siegeism) reported from London, England@O2 Done. I’ve started taking screen shots of locations with no service because it’s so bad.
-
Ben Fisher (@BenFisherCT) reported from Islington, EnglandWe’re not being threatened by some communist tech firm. Imo you should start packaging any of that Huawei crap from China and start sending it back. @O2 @EE @VodafoneUK @ThreeUK @bt_uk
-
Jonathon (@coffeemadman) reported from City of London, England@O2 Er slightly concerning that I recycled a phone with you and you have updated the offer saying you received a *different* phone when I’ve never owned that phone at all.
-
Gill Kirby (@GillKirby) reported from Islington, England@O2 How funny that publicly you demonstrate great customer service, but having DM’d you which you requested, you’ve now gone very silent! Not my idea of service.
-
Enda Guinan (@endaguinan) reported from Islington, England@O2 I’m with GiffGaff. Usually no issues with Mesia messages in any direction, but when it happens, I’m curious about this type of message. It says here’s your message, but there’s no link or attachment.
-
Thomas-Lee (@TRFC_Tom) reported from London, EnglandHaving an issue this week where Monzo are blocking me from paying my phone bill on @O2 app and website and now seen @BBCWatchdog talking about @monzo and their customers suffering from randomly blocked and closed accounts. #WhatsGoingOnzoMonzo #concerned
-
Amy Stone (@amylouisestone) reported from London, England@O2 I have also been doing this too. If this problem persists, then what?
-

-
Gill Kirby (@GillKirby) reported from Islington, England@O2 Still waiting for a call back. I guess even in a sunny day like today. Hell could freeze over. But I’m not holding my breath. I’d say poor customer service, but this is actually abysmal!

-
Patrick Keyte (@PatrickKeyte) reported from London, England@O2 please can you help me? Numerous people are getting calls from my mobile number when I haven’t actually called them or even have their details to start with. This has happened twice in the last week with two different people
-
siege (@siegeism) reported from London, England@O2 after 13 years I’ll be leaving O2. The #reception literally doesn’t exist in South London, better service with a tin can and string. It gets worse year in year out. Are you erecting #phone masts underground or something?
-
Tim Morris (@T_Morris_Wealth) reported from London, England@emmahaslett @O2 Very good point. These things do tend to penalise the more vulnerable/worse off. I work with clients in the former category to help them become more tech savvy and keeping track of their finances. The latter don’t receive much support
-
https://techhub.social/@ianpike 🏴 (@IanPike) reported from London, England@O2 Network reset? Not sure what that is... Not in London often and last two times when I try to connect to wifi extra it requires login info, multiple locations across the tube network. I've searched for a solution and doesn't seem to be any options.
-
David Henry Headley (@DavidHHeadley) reported from Islington, EnglandThat’s the last time I recommend @O2 to anyone. Appalling service and indifferent customer service. What has happened to a once great provider?
-
Jon. 🇬🇧🏴🇮🇱🕎✡️ (@jonnyrotton1989) reported from City of London, England@O2 The network in EC2M has been down since 17th JUNE.....forgive me for being short but 3 months with no network is disgusting.
-
Keith - newacc. (@whiterosetyke) reported from Islington, England@O2 Yes but I deleted it as I said if your reply wasn't a fix (as it's all YOUR fault) I'd block you. You are lucky you aren't blocked @Ofcom
O2 Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Tasha 🦄 (@princesstash617) reported@O2 the company that ask you a suitable time that call back, ensure or promise to call you back at that time and you never hear anything until you phone again. 5 times now, getting a bit frustrating to say the least.
-
Annah Atherton (@Annah_Atherton) reported@O2 why is your signal so bad?! WN1 Seems to have been since an old building knocked down … I’m told there’s nothing wrong in area, yet since my complaint I keep getting updates that you are “working on the problem”
-
Mario Behrendt | AI Founder (@behrendtio) reported@kokeshimum @O2 One could argue you’re in Huddersfield. It’s not the “highest priority area” to build infrastructure let’s say. But I’m in London and during a typical commute on an overground train I lose my signal entirely at least 3 times. Both on EE and Vodafone. Incredible.
-
Michael Phillips (@MichaelPhi82389) reported@kokeshimum @O2 I'm in wales couldn't use my phone for 6 months due to o2 having issues so went to vadafone
-
Phil M Taylor (@Phil_Taylor_4) reported@kokeshimum @O2 The whole of UK telecoms is way behind many other developed parts of the world. Everyone has 5G capable gadgets but our networks are generally not up to 5G. More and more devices are connecting so speeds are not keeping up to demand. It’s very very poor.
-
Alex Wheatley (@thealexbear) reported@TomTalksCars @O2 I agree. Im on giffgaff which uses o2. Signal is shocking in many places.
-
Mark Breeze🕷💙💻🐟 #FBPE #FBPA #RejoinEU🇺🇦 (@MarkyB_62) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Because the operators put profit ahead of service? Coverage investment goes into the high traffic/ high profit urban areas, at the expense of suburban & rural coverage. Better regulation would help.
-
helen 🍒🪩 (@doyoujive) reported@kokeshimum @O2 i’m with ee and mine is the same sometimes. i went to iceland a few years back and had better signal in the peninsulas and at the top of a mountain than i do in the uk. people don’t believe me but its true
-
Scottt Kirkwoodd (@2gurlys1kupp) reported@jokewapo @O2 @virginmedia Mate how bad is the 02 signal up our way now! Phoned them to see if there was an issue and it's something to do with the mast
-
Gareth (@StockwoodCap) reported@kokeshimum @O2 Stuck for 2 hours on the M2 yesterday without moving. I was in a signal black spot so I could barely make a call and had no data… This was on the M2 in Kent. It’s hardly the middle of nowhere.
