We switched to BT a couple of years ago from PlusNet (owned by BT) because BT’s equipment was so much better & we were frustrated with PlusNet’s attitude. It’s difficult, I hear good & bad things about all the providers.

For the 5 GHZ band to refuse connections across a variety of devices then the problem must be on your side of things, or with your Router/Router firmware
