Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Canning Town and nearby locations:
-
Steve Rowley (@MidEssexOD) reported from Islington, England@Ofcom Please encourage @bt_uk to make it more obvious that once the BT home phone service goes digital as the PSTN is being switched off 999 calls cannot be made in the event of a power cut or broadband failure. On their comms its in the small print.
-
Richard (@sirblackers) reported from Walthamstow, England@bt_uk we have been on hold for an hour waiting to speak to someone. The service we were promised when transferring from one property to another is so bad (now just 5 megabits) that we cannot stay with BT. We need to arrange cancellation of services. Please instruct how to do so.
-
Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!
-
Liz (@ejp72) reported from Walthamstow, England@btbusinesscare having intermittent issues with our broadband. Trying to do the online check and it’s taking forever. We had this yesterday as well.
-
Daniel Hirschmann (@danielhirschman) reported from Hackney, EnglandWow, @bt_uk your customer service and internal systems are utterly disappointing. First you send me the wrong kit multiple times over 5 weeks(!) and then send me a message telling me if I don’t return the most recent one, I’ll be charged £50 - eventhough its STILL the wrong kit!
-
Ollie Geale (@OllieGeale) reported from Camberwell, England@BenGilby1 @btsport He has the worst haircut too.
-
Kylie Ainslie (@DrKAinslie) reported from Islington, EnglandYou know you've made it when your internet provider calls you a "priority customer" and sends you a SIM and a new phone as a stop gap until they can sort out your internet issues! @EE @bt_uk @Plusnet
-
Joe Maguire (@Jmaguire2) reported from Hackney, England@btsport commentary has to be the worst thing, they're just talking rubbish. 'not a bad game this' is the least useful comment you could come up with
-
Loft4Words (@Loft4W) reported from Camberwell, England@OffcumdenL @colourblindorg @bt_uk The whole green = go / red = stop concept was clearly never devised by someone who was colourblind
-
Matt Ridsdale (@MPRidsdale) reported from Islington, England@bt_uk fair play. Not a seamless switch (5 days without broadband) but friendly customer service when you had a wobble, text from engineer to say it’s sorted and a dollop of credit volunteered at the end. Not bad. Thank you to the nice people who look after your customers.
-
Kate Austin (@kateaustin496) reported from Stratford, England@thebedfordfox @btsport Not a bad cricketer either David.

-
Ivan Clark (@wobblyclark) reported from Islington, England@bt_uk BT offer expensive broadband, a poor service, & appalling customer support. I tried you guys 4 years back, junked after 2 years. I would never sign-up again. Now you force your ads into my Twitter feed, get a decent media buyer to exclude my device from future campaigns, thanks
-
Edward Woodhouse (@edwardwoodhouse) reported from Poplar, England@bt_uk we were told our wifi would go live today. It hasn’t. We were also given a mini hub which doesn’t work. Please can you help us sort this?

An engineer was due to attend today but has not I dont have the time to keep chasing u and taking time off work 2 be home 4 no reason!!
-
Paul Kellaway (@pkllwy) reported from Poplar, England@bt_uk It's just a shame that your customer service department isn't able to use commonsense and escalate to openreach for investigation when there was patently a problem reported
-
Rob ‘Mr Vee’ Vary (@RobVary) reported from Camberwell, England@btsport why are you not making it easy for your customers to pause your service like sky
-
Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England@bt_uk Wireless, exactly the same way it was before I was forced to get a new identical account with the same users doing the same things without issues. My ms goes from the 20s to in the thousands in semi-regular intervals regardless of time of day or other usage.
-
Sean Kerrigan (@seankerrigan) reported from Ilford, England@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless

(((Ian McKenzie))) 🇬🇧🇪🇺🇫🇷🇺🇦🇮🇱🇬🇪🇬🇱 (@iMcKenzied) reportedHuge disappointment with @bt_uk today. I had a Post Office phone line in 1978 which became BT in 1982. I’ve never considered switching away. I moved last year with about 6 weeks interregnum. I’m moving again and am told I have to pay £73 early termination! So I’m done with BT, me
