  • UKEmpLawyer

@breezymate @SkyUK When I realised our broadband speed from Sky was below the minimum guaranteed, I complained. Their tech expert agreed & said on 27 08 20 she'd send us a broadband booster in recognition of poor service. The booster never arrived. Sky now deny ever promising to send us a booster!

  • benprice84
Ben Price (@benprice84) reported from Penmaen, Wales

@SkySports Graeme Souness is an awful pundit, why do you still employ him? The obvious vendetta he has against Paul Pogba is bordering on ridiculous now

@lairy72 @SkyUK If they make any admissions of poor service/promise to do anything for you (e.g. send a router/booster) ensure you get them to email you written confirmation whilst you are still on the phone with them, or they'll deny it was ever said & won't be able to locate recording of call!

  • faT_Taf_213
LeaveMyArseAlona (@faT_Taf_213) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@DonVito29985036 @SkySportsPL @SkySports They can’t win anything with a captain that has never lifted a single trophy in his career.Better off going with Hendo as captain,at least he knows what is needed to win trophies. Kane just wants individual glory. That is exactly why he never squared the ball to Sterling at the WC

  • jamestuck
James (@jamestuck) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@SkyHelpTeam This is no help at all. I need to actually speak to someone but you don’t allow me. Ultimately the process to return my old device was not followed by Sky so never happened.

Helped my nan sort her @SkyUK bill today. really helpful service happy with the outcome... But she's in her 70s and has been allowed to have her bills increase to between 130-160 per month for over 2 years... Surely Safeguarding volunerable customers should stop that happening!?

@jackisgeeky @jammierooroo @SkyUK Yes, but you still end up paying Sky (through Now streaming service) because they have the rights to almost all tennis matches.

  • larterlia1957

@jammierooroo @SkyUK I still came believe in these times, that you can sign up to these contracts and upgrades online or at a push of a button. When when you want to downgrade or cancel your contract, you need to speak to somebody. Rip off

    @jammierooroo @cannyfartright2 @SkyUK That's awful. But £110 a month! That's ridiculous

  • CatwomanDoris

@KevinSmith1389 @jammierooroo @SkyUK The last time I spoke to sales and customer services they certainly weren’t British.

  • PorscheTime
    PorscheTime (@PorscheTime) reported

@jammierooroo @SkyUK My 77yo MIL was recently scammed out of 75,000 by fraudsters and M&S, MBNA and Santander also loaned her 20,15 and 20k . Problem is she didn’t apply and is a pensioner living alone, half deaf and early stage cognitive decline . The police are looking into the fraud which involved clearing her savings accounts at BoS, opening a Revolut and Kraken crypto account to funnel all the money to from her savings accounts and the loans on top. To say the BoScotland, Revolut , M&S, MBNA and Kraken have been unhelpful is an understatement of enormous proportions. The elderly need better protection from services that insist they hold online accounts. How does anyone lend a 77year old 55,000 in 48 hours with no affordability checks or veracity checks and then only want to talk about paying on time. The elderly are so vulnerable online and none seems to give a monkeys. BoS allowed over 130,000 to flow in and out her bank account over an 8 day period on an account that averaged 280 pounds per month flows over the last 2 years and total balance never changed more than 1-2,000 in that time. M&S will lend online easily but to complain or speak to anyone about you have to write to them and after doing so they refuse to discuss it . The elderly are cannon fodder online.

  • bernadette67_a
    Bernadette Shaw (@bernadette67_a) reported

@jammierooroo @timcaulfield @SkyUK Well Sky should be able to track down the arsehole that sold her the package and at the very least deduct his/her commission on it and retrain him/her.
