No explanation from Sky for why it took so long. Looking at latest bill, loss of service compensation covers only two weeks.

Landline phone not working at all during the 16 days and internet still very slow, sluggish, intermittent. Also, when I left Sky, they eventually offered the sports package at £20 pm for me to stay, but I had other issues with them, so was leaving whatever they offered.

If so expect a further increase in October @SkyHelpTeam should be explaining it’s due to Openreach switching off the copper network & hiking prices to double them compared to start of 2026
