@virginmedia Good morning. Yes it’s an ongoing problem that isn’t going to go away on its own, it needs resolving please. I see that there is now a Hub 4 available, does that emit a stronger WiFi signal? And what about Booster Pods? I don’t live it a mansion, it’s just a normal 3 bed semi.

@virginmedia Yes I’ve done all that and it said the signal was weak. Pressed the button to optimise the WiFi or router or whatever it is and that didn’t work. Is it not the job of the router to emit a strong WiFi signal? All the devices trying to connect are modern and up to date.

@virginmedia I’m on M600 Fibre Broadband. On my account it says ‘our broadband doesn’t get quicker than this. You’re on our top tier broadband!’ If I got a Hub 4 and 1gb broadband, would that guarantee a stronger and faster WiFi network?

Sad in these times when a friend is forced to move home because her mortgage company won’t help her & now @virginmedia are charging her well over £200 as a disconnection fee. To leave a home she doesn’t actually want to leave.

@virginmedia I did all that yesterday. On the laptop that recorded a speed of 1.28mbps, when I put the Ethernet cable in, it was 254.99mbps. On the Apple TV, it went from 1.06 to 651. It’s not just these devices, these are the worst examples

@virginmedia for 3rd time short gap in time my service is showing w02 with repairs just up the road .for the prices i pay i shouldnt pay full service when disrupted so much .a text saying you are doing repairs no good to a 2 year old waiting for peppa pig

@virginmedia no broadband, WiFi or TV services in the SE7 area until 5pm today is completely unacceptable for people working from home. Engineering faults should not be happening during the day. £8 compensation is absolute peanuts. Very poor indeed.

@virginmedia Yes after speaking with a manager the call has now ended and my only choice is to try to contact old tenants to see if I can ask them to disconnect their account. I’m now without internet and not able to work. Genuinely the worst customer service I’ve experienced, so stressed

@virginmedia It is needed. This issue has been ongoing since February 2022 when Virgin failed to move my services but kept charging me for broadband they weren’t supplying. 2 individual agents have told me Virgin are in the wrong. But not one single person from Virgin is willing to help!

@virginmedia I have no idea. All I know is that when I speak to people they can’t help, or promise a call back that never comes. I spoke with an agent at 8:30am who promised a call back that didn’t happen. Meanwhile debt collectors are calling me about money your own staff say I don’t owe!

@virginmedia I can only raise a complaint on an online form which will get back to me after several days. This is no use to me, I need access back to my services today. I am paying for virgin and not getting access, being told to contact YOUR customers. Can someone take ownership for this!
