-
Mila Griebel (@MilaGriebel) reported from Camden Town, England@bt_uk so for the second time in 3 week we have no land line. Unable to talk to some one as first cut off and now just ringing . How long is it going to take to fix it this time and how long until it happens again. It's totally your fault and you have hung up again 3 times
-
StrawberrySocial (@StrawberrySoc) reported from Paddington, England@bt_uk I’m running a company and working late to onboard a client.. urm why would there be speed issues at 3am?
-
John Mitchell (@prof_j_mitchell) reported from Camden Town, England@bt_uk I’d like to cancel BT sport but the web or app won’t allow it saying you much call.
-
James Vertigan (@jamesvertigan) reported from Ealing, England@bt_uk Seems to be back up to normal speeds now so was probably just an overnight outage, although the completion date on that fault has now changed by a day.
-
Jenny Woods (@JennyferWoods) reported from Hammersmith, England@BTCare my wifi is down in the whole street. How can I inform you without being on hold forever? Is there an email address?

-
Joshua Milton (@miltipello) reported from Camden Town, EnglandVery slow on the uptake, or @btsport have failed miserably on publicising it, but the fact they've attained some @NHL live game rights is potentially huge. They've done a great job with MotoGP and increasing baseball coverage, so hopefully they step it up with hockey too.
-
Oak 🌳 (@_Oak01) reported from Paddington, England@bt_uk The internet is down, not the whole internet mind you, just my connection to it. I suspect the SKYFIRE to be involved.
-
Martín Pane 🐦 (@martinTayx) reported from Camden Town, England@Strippin @btbusinesscare @WeAreOpenreach Internet I'm the UK is shockingly awful. It took Virgin Media 6 months to install a cable to my house after repeatedly stating it would only take 1-2 months. 🙈
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Large Vodka (@mizmuggle) reported@bt_uk I’ve already done this. It’s says network fault and the date for resolution keeps getting pushed back. It’s not acceptable and can’t get through to an actual person on the phone.
-
Changeling64 (@64outsider) reported@bt_uk upgraded my elderly relatives (in their 90s)telephone line & now their telephone isn't ringing properly. How exactly is that 'improving' their service? Ironically their phones are BT ones. Spent a few hours talking to customer services (not a free number 2 contact) #POOR
-
Josh (@_JoshDenham) reported@bt_uk So the service is down according to the website, but nothing anywhere before logging into my account, or yourselves here, acknowledged that beforehand. When can I expect my access to the broadband to be back?
-
James (Jim) Naismith (@JHNaismith) reportedUsually optimistic on technological progress so disappointed broadband speed being > halved to 67Mbps next month by @bt_uk. @virginmedia can’t fix their “blocked duct” at front door, not good advert for uk infrastructure, I live in Jericho, central Oxford, not remote Highlands.
-
Ba$ho (@MonkeyRaincoat) reportedHi @bt_uk I am desperate to talk to a real person. I don't have a BT account. My 95-year old neighbour has lost her phone and broadband connection. She is largely deaf as well. I can't call from her phone as it is not working...1/2
-
Gari MacColl (@JGMacColl) reported@bt_uk Hi. I'd like to not pay you over £70 a month for a copper wire broadband service and a landlines number. Can you tell me the best way to leave yourselves after 17 years?
-
Ruth Knight (@LadyRufus) reported@ClaireMadMax @bt_uk If your internet goes off you can’t make a call either! No mobile signal where I live. Excellent work BT😡
-
Roibeard Mhuiris (@RMhuiris) reported@JimSpenceDundee @WeAreOpenreach @bt_uk 2) ...even though their network and ducts are right outside the properties the pole serves. They've caused so much trouble and wasted so much of my time, I've had to put the matter on hold. You can't allow anyone to disrupt your life to such an extent.
-
The Emperor Son (@TheEmperorSon) reportedHay @EE and @bt_uk, next time you have a broadband outage can you text me that there's a problem in the area to my mobile phone about the issue? I thought there was a problem with my hub, so performed a reset and unknowingly lost all my contacts. I assumed that the numbers where stored in the handset. My fault for not reading the instructions - but because I didn't know about the broadband outage, I thought the fault was the equipment. Have now added my contacts back to the phone, which are stored in the hub.

Steve 💙💚🏴 (@Superfx101) reportedHello As an existing customer, I thought I was supposed to be offered what new customers are offered, but the cheapest renewal is £15 more than what a new customer is offered. Please can you clarify, thank you @Ofcom @bt_uk
