  • kingswoodranger Anne Ayres (@kingswoodranger) reported from Lower Kingswood, England

@btsport @DavidGinola @DavidGinola96 #bosman just watched your documentary on catch up. What a great piece of journalism. As David sums up, how can this man have been totally abandoned by those who benefited from all he sacrificed and no one has attempted 2 help him?Shame on them

  • Team_M_T Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England

@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family

  • seankerrigan Sean Kerrigan (@seankerrigan) reported from Ilford, England

@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless

  • teenaantoniou Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England

.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk I already block them but unfortunately they’re never ending. Surely these numbers can be traced and the relevant authorities can get them shut down as they’re trying to defraud people, Also they’re claiming to be the person’s internet service provider

  • BillGlover Bill / 葛威 (@BillGlover) reported from Camden Town, England

@bt_uk So… “We’ve tested your service and found a problem within our network. We will arrange an Openreach engineer to investigate.” @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk If you know there is a problem, why does your status page report there are no issues? Why do I need to proactively request a fix?

  • KushlasBySanaer ☘Adrian 🇪🇺 Madden ☘ (@KushlasBySanaer) reported from Brentford, England

I've just been texting @bt_uk customer services and it turned out to be quite a straight-forward uncomplicated transaction. May need to sit down out of shock.

  • Maddygoesmad Maddy Goes Mad (@Maddygoesmad) reported from Poplar, England

@bt_uk is there a problem with WiFi? I can’t connect. Tried trouble shooting but nothing other than a solid orange light.

  • JamesMorris77 James Morris (@JamesMorris77) reported from Hammersmith, England

@BTSportBoxing @btsport please please please turn off the ridiculous ten second loop of crowd murmur on the boxing. It’s ruining the coverage. It’s not working. Turn it off #DuboisJoyce

  • ShadaBhaiShahed S.A (@ShadaBhaiShahed) reported from Stratford, England

@bt_uk hi I really need help urgently, an open reach engineer came on Monday to install my complete Wi-fi package it was working fine. But My smart hub 2 has been flashing purple light since 7pm yesterday I have not internet and I’m working from home.

  • sgfmann George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk Because we were loyal customers for a decade and you responsed to that loyalty but ramping up our charges outrageously. Because of some difficult family times, we didn’t check as closely as we should but I will never give BT a penny more.

  • robholley Rob Holley (@robholley) reported from Camberwell, England

@ladyjazmana That’s what I’m doing with BT. Was so tired of the slow speeds/no Internet and paying £55 for the privilege plus a land line (??) and BTSport (!!)

  • EventOCallaghan Mark O'Callaghan (@EventOCallaghan) reported from Camberwell, England

@bt_uk live chat customer service Where and how

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk please can you do something about the sheer amount of spam callers we’re getting. 3-4 a day to my mother who has dementia. Already called 150 and they can’t/won’t help

  • garageowns Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England

@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time

  • Barry2103 Barry French (@Barry2103) reported from Richmond, England

There is a scam going on. A machine is calling the @bt_uk line claiming you have ordered an iPad on @AmazonUK and want your bank details so as they can issue a refund. If BT would like to give me details where I can report this...

  • radioheadjen Jenny Collins (@radioheadjen) reported from Tottenham, England

@la_riviere @bt_uk Totally. It’s why I will never feel sorry for the royal family - they’ve never had to deal with a telecoms call centre.

  • andy_gaffey Andy Gaffey (@andy_gaffey) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk Hey BT I was in the middle of work tonight at around 1230am and lost my broadband connection. Went through troubleshooting. Restarted my router and now have solid orange light. Status page says you are working on the network. Was this planned maintenance? I live in SW16

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • chefkevinashton Kevin Ashton (@chefkevinashton) reported

@bt_uk My wife paid for 5 days of broadband #BTWifi in our new house to bridge the gap before our broadband is installed. It is expensive and keeps dropping out VERY VERY unimpressed. Plus Not enough customer service reps to answer phones.

  • millie_thackray Millie (@millie_thackray) reported

@bt_uk we’ve been trying to cancel our BT WiFi contract since Friday, having spent a cumulative 1.5 hours on hold, with no success of getting through. How can you justify a notice period of 30 days when customers can’t inform you of cancellations?

  • connorisgoku Connor (@connorisgoku) reported

@staplenick @bt_uk @JohnStapletonTV Don’t start with BT n their things not working, we tried bt tv and it was a nightmare. So many call outs and bad promises.

  • julianstockton Julian Stockton (@julianstockton) reported

Hello @bt_uk is anyone looking at your DM's? Your wait time to speak to someone is over 60 minutes and your online bots can't help. Give me a wave if you can see this👋

  • staplenick Nick Stapleton (@staplenick) reported

@bt_uk @JohnStapletonTV It's one thing for dad who has a mobile too and doesn't rely so much on his landline, for example to be linked up to medical equipment/an alarm, to have it totally out of action months on end. So @bt_uk what about those who do? This has been going on too long without resolution

  • NRManc Neil (@NRManc) reported

Can’t remember the last time I made a call on my @bt_uk landline but just received my latest bill and discover the cost of a landline to landline call is 25p/min !! And that’s a bog standard number - no special service. Time to unplug it I think !!

  • jamesrandall_ James Randall (@jamesrandall_) reported

@bt_uk Hey BT. I’m an unhappy customer who has been on hold for over 50 minutes waiting to speak to someone in your ‘loyalty’ team. Is this normal? Do you hope to bore your customers into submission so they keep paying your high prices? Direct debit cancellation incoming...

  • julianstockton Julian Stockton (@julianstockton) reported

@bt_uk Hello, I'm waiting for an engineer who is an hour late, and I can't find out if they are coming or not. Can you help, please?

  • curiousiguana ❓🦎 (@curiousiguana) reported

It would also be good if @bt_uk offered a dirt cheap, slow but fine connection for the over 70s. Enough for them to send an email or download an audiobook. Maybe they do, but I'm unaware of it. 10Mbps cap. Fiver a month. Pensioners only.

  • Alisonhaigh3 Alison haigh (@Alisonhaigh3) reported

@bt_uk are there issues with broadband today in Oughtibridge S35 please?
