    @virginmedia The local council resurfaced the pavement outside of our front garden wall shortly before these problems arose, so we're wondering if they damaged the cables there. I informed the engineer who came and customer services about that.

    @jenniseex @bt_uk @virginmedia Yep. I have very poor Internet in my home and pay large prices. Everytime I phone to get it rectified, I'm told there is nothing wrong with the WiFi and my house is the issue. Pathetic. I detest them

    @virginmedia my internet has gone down every day this week (and again now, as I’m about to start remote teaching). I’ve checked and the website says there are no problems in our area but something isn’t right and I can’t carry on like this....please help ASAP #e17

    @virginmedia All the customer service people I've spoken to (by mobile phone) have been very nice and tried their best with tests and notes on the file etc. The work on cabling seems to be a law into itself and repeatedly tried & fails, as far as I can gather, to though that is only surmise.

    @virginmedia I think it's a standard engineer visit to address the broadband outage. We're hoping it won't lead to another cycle of cabling attempts, although I understand that things have to take their course and hopefully get there in the end.

    @virginmedia this is torture. Second day trying to get through to someone about landline fault. Hold music is excruciatingly annoying.... 25 mins so far today, no answer. Yesterday I could only handle 35 mins. I don’t want to listen daily to this awful music loop with no results

    No info from contact centre staff - not able to help and told not getting compensation @virginmedia @MoneyTelegraph text yesterday say resolved, call today to say text sent in error - new resolve date of 18 feb. No explanation. No help. Slow and broadband cutting out.

    @virginmedia Hi john, no there isn’t. All status pages and troubleshooter told me it was my devices at fault not the network, yet your colleague told me on phone it was an ‘area issue’ (unclear where) and would not say more other than 5-7day interruption. Can you DM me for my phone number?

    @virginmedia The leaving my contract on my contract end date not the ludicrous exact 30 day issue I finally managed to resolve after arguing for 30 minutes and my contract will now be ending on the day I requested not the 30 day supposed policy. But I should not have had to argue to get it!

    @virginmedia The voice msg kept saying call back later. No info provided about how long this issue may last. If I knew it would be almost a week I would have written a letter. Past 2 days I've got into a queue, had to hang up after an 1hr but 2nd time was 46 min, I've now cancelled my service

    @virginmedia The PayPal theft was about 10 years ago and PayPal refunded me the money. The fake deal and falsified records was in 2020 and when I finally spoke to a senior staff member they said this was very common at the time and resolved the issue eventually.
