Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England
@MartynJohnPR @virginmedia I’m half way through an 18month contract - so it would be slightly more to let in run out. So frustrating as they’re saying it’s a disconnection fee but are the ones forcing me into it as they don’t offer the service
-
Mario Bucolo (@mariobucolo) reported from London, England
@virginmedia i have an issue on my broadband...just 2 after i complaint against a openreach engineering. what a coincidence!
-
Edward Norman (@Chevrongreens73) reported from Brentford, England
@virginmedia Down again. Is it Nw10 area or me?
-
Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England
Terrible customer service from @virginmedia . Don’t offer coverage at my new house and want £250 to cancel my existing connection. Would be happy to take it with me but they can’t offer a service (that should be their issue not mine). #dreadful #avoid

Simon Bye 🎪🔶 (@UB5simon) reported from Ealing, England
@Kezza101064 It's the old equivalent of the wi-fi going down for ages, otherwise known as being a Virgin Media customer.
-
Edward Norman (@Chevrongreens73) reported from Brentford, England
@virginmedia down in Willesden?
-
Yao Song Ng (@notquiteYao) reported from Islington, England
I love @virginmedia ‘s new initiative to get customers to reduce screen time and experience world. As a customer you will be connected to Virgin Media wireless whenever available and have absolutely no data at all.
-
Anand Baria (@anands_) reported from Brentford, England
@virginmedia The service resumed after about and hour. Thanks
-
Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England
@virginmedia I am not disputing the validity. I am stating that this is dreadful customer service. You cannot offer a connection and therefore I have no alternative. This is reflective of your lack of coverage. The poor customer service certainly means I’ll never be back. A very bitter taste
-
Santero, human ambassador to ducks (@djsantero) reported from Camberwell, England
@DJLKP @virginmedia Jaysus, that is terrible. Was considering Virgin for my new flat, not sure now...
-
Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England
@virginmedia As I said, I am aware of the contract - however it reflects very poorly from a customer service perspective. You can’t offer a service to the capital city and want to charge me for your lack of coverage. Shocking business practise. #avoid #ripoffbritain @bbcone
-
Jean Rauwers (@jeanrauwers) reported from London, England
@virginmedia getting these emails saying “we are sorry you are leaving” but I didn’t cancel my service with you guys. Should I be worried about it?
-
amanda brooker (@brookersx5) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England
@virginmedia for 3rd time short gap in time my service is showing w02 with repairs just up the road .for the prices i pay i shouldnt pay full service when disrupted so much .a text saying you are doing repairs no good to a 2 year old waiting for peppa pig
-
Huey Morgan Gluten Freeman (@andypurbrick) reported from Walthamstow, England
@LDesesperes @virginmedia Customer service is terrible, no point in making a complaint as they say they'll contact you to discuss but never bother. As soon as an alternative option comes to our address we are leaving
-
Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England
@virginmedia Completely down
-
DAVID WOODHOUSE (@STRAYPHOTON) reported from Richmond, England
@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Same here, also in TW2. Was bad last night, seemed better during the day but now poor again, picture breaking up and sound drops out momentarily.
-
Caz Digital (@CazDigital1) reported from Hemel Hempstead, England
@virginmedia I’ve already done that. It says no known issues.
-
DAVID WOODHOUSE (@STRAYPHOTON) reported from Richmond, England
@tonydixon59 @virginmedia Thanks for your reply. No improvement - I have rebooted the box and checked all connections. Seems to have coincided with the recent wet weather, and could the fact that another customer in TW2 is having similar issues suggest water in the works?
-
Simon Crowther (@SCcrowther) reported from Hackney, England
@thealisonedgar I would understand if they offered a service and I was choosing not to take it. They can’t offer a connection in London - it’s not the outer Hebrides. Leaves a bitter taste. Will never go back to @virginmedia
-
Alicia Carney (@aliciaverbs) reported from Walthamstow, England
@virginmedia Looping this conversation back into noisy, bottomless support channels and forums isn't gonna cut it. I am fed up from wasting my time waiting on hold for 45-90 minutes only to be told "we've already told you engineers are coming, bye." This is infuriating.

-
Maya (@mayasmoves) reported
@virginmedia is there some wrong with the service? Wi-Fi has been really poor this whole week (service status says it’s fine but it’s been super patchy!)
-
Aamina (@minaislx) reported
@virginmedia No one has?????? If you can’t provide what you claim to provide than I should get a ******* refund and so I can move elsewhere cuz your service is not good enough.
-
David B Sauer (@DavidBSauer) reported
@virginmedia Was told Virgin Mobile's (@virginmedia) policy is to block contracted data when reaching spend limit. Removing Unlimited data does nothing to protect from overages, and is making my life difficult. Now I have paid extra, in advance of my direct debit, and STILL have no service!
-
Laura Docherty (@lauradocherty84) reported
@virginmedia why are episodes 1 & 5 Brassic season 3 not included in my package but all others are? It says all episodes available from wed 6th Oct but just these 2 episodes say I need to upgrade when I know I don’t 🤬 another fail by @virginmedia sort it out.
-
TVL (@tvlvt_) reported
@virginmedia So please tell me why we were told by Virgin to upgrade the broadband to correct the issue only for it to still be happening multiple times within the space of 6 months. Absolute shambles.
-
TVL (@tvlvt_) reported
@virginmedia We had this problem in the spring and were told we needed to upgrade our package which we did. In July we then had a 3 day outage and our Hub was replaced and the same thing is happening again, none of our devices can connect to the Hub.
-
Doug (@iamdougmac1) reported
@virginmedia If Virgin was at the property and I didn't want to port it over... a fee would be fair enough, but it's not there. You should foot the bill, not me. I won't be rushing back once you're eventually there, crap customer service to a loyal customer for years
-
Aamina (@minaislx) reported
@virginmedia Haven’t tried wired, but WiFi is absolutely **** which is what I NEED. Paying for one of the highest package - 200 something but only receive 10/15 mbps in every other room except the one the router is in. 15 out of 200 is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
-
Becs (@owlsgirl67) reported
@virginmedia It should be back on within 48 hours but they also told me that at 8.30 Wednesday morning. I made a complaint today which has been closed without even an apology.
-
Andy Quinton (@QuintonAndy) reported
@virginmedia Yes...some idiot on the phone. Had enough now. Goodbye
