@O2 I've no DM may I ask, what makes Twitter O2 better then two customer service phone calls and twice into the O2 shop in Camden? The 4 times and completely incapable of of fixing the issue. Just wondering what makes you different.

  • LebbyE
Lebby Eyres (@LebbyE) reported from Islington, England

Essentially @o2 treat everyone who wants to buy a phone under £200 outright like a potential fraudster. You can’t pay it off in store and they force you into a temp contract. Then make you wait hours on the phone and go via their fraud dept. Why? I’d love to know.

  • Pretty_Gorge
A dollop of kindness (@Pretty_Gorge) reported from City of London, England

@creditkarma Tried the link and there’s no live chat option. Can you please help to avoid my @O2 mobile phone account being used fraudulently!!! #creditscore #poorcustomerservice #fraud

@O2 Yes but I deleted it as I said if your reply wasn't a fix (as it's all YOUR fault) I'd block you. You are lucky you aren't blocked @Ofcom

  • KtHob

  • LebbyE
Lebby Eyres (@LebbyE) reported from Islington, England

You can tell how a company values its customers by their customer service. 2.5 hrs for @O2 to tell me for some reason I need to call the fraud dept to pay off and upgrade my son’s phone. Cut off four times yet they answer to “business customers” immediately

  • atkin_julie
julie atkin (@atkin_julie) reported from Islington, England

O2 charging customer for voice text. That's terrible. I think after 20 yrs I will be leaving you in 4 months when my contract ends. You don't respect or look after your customers. Especially faithful ones. @O2

  • Bex_Stinson
BEX (@Bex_Stinson) reported from Camden Town, England

Update! The problem I need fixing is that I can’t make phone calls. So I can’t ring my energy supplier about being cut off, or my GP about my asthma. My phone won’t call any number at all. I told @O2. Finally. Thankfully, @O2 sent me a DM and asked me to call them to sort it

  • Henry_Coates
Henry Coates (@Henry_Coates) reported from Walthamstow, England

@jimsmallman @O2 I left them a few years ago because the customer service is god awful! @ThreeUK is the best bet for the amount we travel! Not the best in London but all over the world it’s great

    @TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I can't get a signal. I blame the cycle paths. Pathetic.

  • AlexKnott241254
    Alex Knott (@AlexKnott241254) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I'm on O2 and very very rarely gets coverage issue except may be festivals

  • RSfuqv
    sss (@RSfuqv) reported

@O2 @TomTugendhat Your signal has got worse in the last few years absolutely rubbish unless I’m stood next to a phone mast.

  • g30r93g
    George Nick Gorzynski (@g30r93g) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE coverage means nothing if signal strength is so abysmal the network becomes unusable

  • No_to_wokery
Provoke the Woke 🙈🙊🙉 (@No_to_wokery) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE You had 13 years to fix this mess. What do did the Tories do in government again ?

  • jontechilovsky
    Jon Techilovsky (@jontechilovsky) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE It's funny how when the private sector is doing something well it's solely down to them, but when the private sector performs badly it's the government's fault. BT(EE) made a profit of £1 billion last year. There is nothing stopping them using those funds to improve coverage.

  • KettchUK
    KettchUK (@KettchUK) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Don't worry, the private sector will be along any moment with that investment you said they'd be putting into the network decades ago.

  • GoodhandWill
    Will Goodhand (@GoodhandWill) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 It also seems to be getting worse - v poor on 5G often

  • SoSoaksy
    Amelia Eberhardt-Armstrong (@SoSoaksy) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 They are reducing signal strength to save electricity costs. They even boast about how they reduce energy consumption by switching equipment off/running in lower power. Esp in non peak periods such as overnight. Doesn’t seem to be subject to regulatory measures

  • Chris94501165
    Chris (@Chris94501165) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 Tom, cell masts use this thing called electricity. Essentially O2 are underpowering them due to the cost of energy. The bad news for you is that the cost of Net Zero is increasing those energy costs. Who enshrined it in to law? Secondary order consequences are a thing...
