-
George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England
@bt_uk I was turned down when I wanted to negotiate, I was charged £85 for broadband and BT sport for three years. I was told “you agreed the price tough”. As I said due to family issues my eye wasn’t on the detail. Closed my BT account over a year ago, never will return.
-
Bridgette Parlma (@Bparlma) reported from Hammersmith, England
Peter Crouch doesn’t know that CHO had a bad injury then...some pundit ehhhh 🙄 #RENCHE #btsport
-
jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England
@bt_uk please can you do something about the sheer amount of spam callers we’re getting. 3-4 a day to my mother who has dementia. Already called 150 and they can’t/won’t help
-
Jenny Collins (@radioheadjen) reported from Tottenham, England
@la_riviere @bt_uk Totally. It’s why I will never feel sorry for the royal family - they’ve never had to deal with a telecoms call centre.
-
Bill / 葛威 (@BillGlover) reported from Camden Town, England
@bt_uk So… “We’ve tested your service and found a problem within our network. We will arrange an Openreach engineer to investigate.” @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk If you know there is a problem, why does your status page report there are no issues? Why do I need to proactively request a fix?
-
Maddy Goes Mad (@Maddygoesmad) reported from Poplar, England
@bt_uk is there a problem with WiFi? I can’t connect. Tried trouble shooting but nothing other than a solid orange light.
-
Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England
@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time
-
Andy Gaffey (@andy_gaffey) reported from Lambeth, England
@bt_uk Hey BT I was in the middle of work tonight at around 1230am and lost my broadband connection. Went through troubleshooting. Restarted my router and now have solid orange light. Status page says you are working on the network. Was this planned maintenance? I live in SW16
-
Sean Kerrigan (@seankerrigan) reported from Ilford, England
@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless
-
Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England
.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!
-
Graham Allen (@original_addick) reported from South Darenth, England
Hey this is bad practice @bt_uk @BBCNews disgusted to get a call today from BT trying to sell me BT Halo and using challenges of internet demand during Covid as a sales technique.
-
Rob Holley (@robholley) reported from Camberwell, England
@ladyjazmana That’s what I’m doing with BT. Was so tired of the slow speeds/no Internet and paying £55 for the privilege plus a land line (??) and BTSport (!!)
-
Mark Perry (@longfella31) reported from Romford, England
@btsport how does having the 4th & 5th round draw on the same night help fixture congestion?
-
James Morris (@JamesMorris77) reported from Hammersmith, England
@BTSportBoxing @btsport please please please turn off the ridiculous ten second loop of crowd murmur on the boxing. It’s ruining the coverage. It’s not working. Turn it off #DuboisJoyce

Mark O'Callaghan (@EventOCallaghan) reported from Camberwell, England
@bt_uk live chat customer service Where and how
-
Christiana Petrou (@chrissiemoux) reported from Romford, England
@bt_uk Need help! 3rd time asking! The cab outside my house is making a load rustling noise! I can hear it watching TV and in bed. I am worried it isn’t SAFE. PLEASE HELP!
-
Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England
@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family
-
George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England
@bt_uk Because we were loyal customers for a decade and you responsed to that loyalty but ramping up our charges outrageously. Because of some difficult family times, we didn’t check as closely as we should but I will never give BT a penny more.
-
jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England
@bt_uk I already block them but unfortunately they’re never ending. Surely these numbers can be traced and the relevant authorities can get them shut down as they’re trying to defraud people, Also they’re claiming to be the person’s internet service provider
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Joanna Wilson (@Joanna_Wilson) reported
@bt_uk The issue is fairly clearly laid out in the original post, and the Observer article in the link. @bt_uk is forcing everyone to get rid of their landlines and rely on the internet and mobile reception, which is both inconvenient and potentially dangerous.
-
kath (@kathwizzle) reported
@bt_uk I have been tracking the order but it hasn’t changed for days and there is no estimate on when the “processing” will end. Who can i contact for BT shop issues?
-
Richard Wiles (@Goonerwiles69) reported
@bt_uk Another 20hrs wasted - you lost MiL telephone number of 34 years, made repeated promises of “we’ll get it back” - NOTHING HAPPENS #badcustomerservice #dissapointed #noownership official complaint already made - no action on this. Was told we’d receive feedback & call today
-
John Davies (@john164694) reported
@bt_uk It’s now been over 5 wks we’ve been without our landline since “upgrading” to full fibre broadband. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been told it will be sorted in 24/48 hrs… And in the meantime you have the audacity to send me a bill! Disgraceful service!!
-
Ellieathome (@ellieteacher) reported
@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow My @bt_uk deal expires soon. Online offers renewal at £11 more per month. I live chatted them, they offered a new deal £5 more than current and also more than current deals from plusnet, voda and others, so looks like I will cancel. Shame as otherwise happy with the service.
-
ann parker (@annmarieparker) reported
@bt_uk my Internet is down again this happened last week to

-
Richard Wiles (@Goonerwiles69) reported
@bt_uk I will, Clare, although @bt_uk continued incompetence & poor customer service has led to massive amounts of stress. 2nd time this has happened - my mother had to get #PhilipJansen’s crack team to sort out your mess
-
Giga Gray (@GigaGray) reported
@bt_uk we’ve not had a day of uninterrupted TV since we signed up 8 months ago. TV shows are constantly buffering or not loading up. Your broadband service is incredibly poor.
