Sky have said on more than one occasion it would be fixed by a certain date. Latest date given for the fix was yesterday but still the outage persists. Do you think this is acceptable?

Landline phone not working at all during the 16 days and internet still very slow, sluggish, intermittent. That was three weeks ago and the outage is still present three weeks later. Someone in my road later said were then told it would be fixed by 02/09 but that hasn't happened either.
