This isn't a suck up to the BBC, but the slower more rigourous fact checking that they do is what the world's most expensive game deserves. Yes, sometimes it's very slow, sometimes SkySports are first to the party, but there's countless times that they've abused this influence.

@SkyUK So the Sky VIP level is just utter bullshit. Diamond level means that now my Sky Q box has failed, you can’t get an engineer out to replace it for a MONTH!! Yet if I want a new Sky dish installed it’s under two weeks. Appalling way to treat your loyal customers!

@MikScarlet @SkyUK Definitely used to years back at my folks place, bad weather would reduce various channels to static at worse, as living out in the sticks reception was weak. Now it’s fine as my folks can eyeball the transmitter across the valley!

@MikScarlet @SkyUK I did technical support for Sky just before digital launched. Communal dishes were a pain, especially because you could never get the landlords to agree to get the dish fixed and Sky wouldn't send one of their own engineers.
