@virginmedia why do I only get a notice saying channel failed when I watch sky sports channel live, I can watch any other channel you provide me and don’t have a issue. I have done everything that you tell me to do but it still keeps happening.

  • ladykittymckat
LadyKitty McKatfacelady (@ladykittymckat) reported from Datchworth, England

Virgin Customer Services are an utter disgrace! @virginmedia I called on Sunday to get our broadband running (it’s been up and down for over 6 months now!) only to have laughing, singing and screeching in the background that sounded very much like celebrating the demise of HMQEII

  • nicholasjemetta
Nicholas Jemetta (@nicholasjemetta) reported from Hitchin, England

@virginmedia I’m trying to help my mother-in-law who’s a registered cater, with her broadband. Her wi-fi signal is very patchy and it’s causing her problems (plus unnecessary extra stress). She has a Hub 3; can she get a Hub 4 without upgrading to Gig 1?

  • johnait72020789
John Aitken (@johnait72020789) reported from Stotfold, England

@virginmedia Hi yes I’ve check all cables are in correct and I’ve turn off from socket and removed plug then put back the plug after 30 seconds but it didn’t help it still turn itself off twice after doing it.

Jason Flynn 💙 (@jasondflynn) reported from Letchworth Garden City, England

@virginmedia Not ‘sorry hit you’ll need to get into another queue for hours and hours because it’s another team and we can’t help you’ That is not how to treat customers. In any business. Someone needs to take ownership of a situation. Truly terrible customer service. #virginmedia

  • angelstorm13
Ella A Cutler (@angelstorm13) reported from Welwyn Hatfield, England

Yet again dispicable lack of customer service from #virginmedia for the 7+ hr outage. Not even one tweet. Your customer service dept needs sacking! How can you run a company like this and charge us so much! @virginmedia #virginmediadown

  • DearleRobert
Robert Dearle (@DearleRobert) reported from Harlow, England

  • jamescun
James Cunningham (@jamescun) reported from London Colney, England

@doismellburning @danpalmer I have a self-hosted box with DigitalOcean in London. My use case is isolation from local networks and ISP privacy (I know I’m just moving the problem, but I trust DO more than Virgin Media). For those cases, VPN providers are a haven for data collection, so no.

  • HalloweenJack55
Richard (@HalloweenJack55) reported from Epping, England

@virginmedia my broadband is down with an estimated fix of 1625 tomorrow. Not good enough.

@o2 @virginmedia @Virgin CEO LUTZ SCHUELER seems only your bot accounts actually care about the customer

  • jhargie4
    john (@jhargie4) reported

@O2 @virginmedia CEO Lutz Schueler been waiting 5 days for my DEALOCK Letter following your refusal to actually discuss my complaint before transferring to another service provider. New customers get better deals than 20 year loyal ones.

  • denimscott
    DENIM 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇸 (@denimscott) reported

@TheWho87 @virginmedia We done the same. Said something about "five days" on the packaging, but dismissed it. Within the week, box went down, so had to start using the new remote, thereby losing everything, including some much-looked at sport from the "deleted" file. That file is non-existent now.

  • Dratcliffe1986
David Ratcliffe (aka Centurions_War) (@Dratcliffe1986) reported

@virginmedia @ExeterBub Are repairs for no service supposed to be 48hrs from when reported? Id raise to the issue to ofcom, make sure Virginmedia keep to the extended time frame and provide full compensation and refund for the lost TV access
